i was just wondering, that in a football world cup match - what is the importance and significance or why should mla's related to fisheries and power department do ... in case if the government would have sponsered their trip what would they have achieved and learned from a football match and what would they have implemented in their department ?
The Sports Minister's case can be considered, if he can bring anything good for local sports But good that Goa CM made others to pay from their personal funds. But what about absence from their work? Why cant the Govt cut their Salaries, just like any other Official who draws Salary from Govt? In fact, all the MPs & MLAs must be asked to work 25 days in their Constituencies, travel by public transport only, stay & eat in SC,ST,BC Hostels only, send reports on development by Post only. No politician or IAS,IPS etc., must be permitted to buy property anywhere except in their Native place/Taluq. They should not be given Medical treatment (self & family) outside their Constituency & their Children must not be permitted to study out of their Constituency, upto Graduation. Very simples rules & enforcement, will develop India within just 20 yrs.
