kindly see if there is a VIP visit there wont be any power crisis. power situation in Leh is worthless and nobody was allowed to use heater. but see now in Kargil there will be power everywhere... wherever PM goes or his shadow falls.
while answering a letter to my senior about Line loss in '99, i came to know the line loss of Delhi is 60% and that of UP was more than that. This line loss is not 'electrical loss'...these are unauthorised tappings which are not paid by the farmers and industries apart from the individuals. for one unit of one power station going down,does not give rise to this sort of situation. we are in the national grid....if paid we can share the output of Kudankulam being in Leh/Kargil.....there should be political will.
let them take power from jarkhand through northern grid. MP is already using power from jarkhand state. but do not lay 133KV power lines to south as naxalites will one day or other smash the wires burning the forest wealth and also the girijans get effected. TRS was shredding crocodile tears on girijans when it comes to polavaram project but it is stone silent with regard to proposed high tension power lines /gas pipe lines endangering girijan lives with the threat of forest fires .

Weak and leaky distribution system (thefts through katiya and tempered power meters),if taken care of, 80 percent problems shall get resolved
