Why the announcement ie not made earlier since she attended the course last year . Above all our Parliamentarians attend such courses, @ cost of Tax Payer's money but can they also announce whats the use of these courses & if they have made any impact in Governance or development? WAs she a Parliamentarian when she attended the course, last yr? Our MPs,MLAs must visit their Constituencies more which teach them 1000 times more than Harward or Yale. If they cant learn on site, how can they learn anything off site? If US Universities conduct simple eligibility tests (like TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, SAT) in line with entrance for other courses, NO ONE would get even f- grade to study any course.

Why don't you just find out the Education qualification of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. Subramaniam Swamy has challenged Rahul Gandhi to publish or show him his degree at Harward.
Modi has instructed his Party MPs& Ministers to avoid Journalists. Yet Smriti Irani dares defying exposing her weakness on uneducated wording. She was good in press discussions, I could not understand how she tells about having degree from Yale University(for certification of attendance of Programme) !

for politician the education is not a 'Must' criteria but for others who are looking for job, it is India.

He is worst of his kind. though he is graduate. He destroyed Bihar's basics and still , it is struggling to recover from poverty and illitracey.
Either Ms Irani does not know the difference between a certificate and a degree or she feels an inferiority complex that compels her to lie about her educational qualifications. It is not the degree or certificates that matters but what you deliver.
So we have Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi and of course Smriti Irani. She doesn't have to be on the defensive. So what qualifications AK Antony has to have qualified to be our defence minister. And he was not a failure - was he? One can go on and on. Let us wait and watch if she can bring the desired changes through good governance in her assignment. And wish her well. If she doesn't, PM will take a call.

AK Antony is distinguished statesman with almost 30 yrs of political experience, and has been the chief minister of Kerala as well.. completing all 5 yrs. So that is good enuf. Ms.Irani has only experiance of crying in front of the camera...serials and politics...!

Two wrongs don't make a right. Congress did lot mistakes and hence lost badly in the elections. Are trying to prove BJP is as bad as Congress by supporting a person without a degree to be our higher education minister? The degree for education ministry is as essential as defense minister knowing that AK47 is a machine G U N.

Qulification of AK Antony...Ak Antony has the same qualification Arun Jaitley...That is LLB...If AK Antony is unqualified to be Defence Minister,Then Jaitley is also unqulified
