while students are faced with minmally 3languages, in expandingcareer opportunities Globally some students may seek working knowledge ofimportant other languages like Chinese ,Spanish, French or Swahili.
our desire to include Sanskrit in School courses unnecessarily overburdens school syllabi with languages, while IT & maths are even more profitable as career promoting qualification .D. Goel

Indians must be practical
by Varadarajan Ravindran on Aug 06, 2014 11:26 PM  | Hide replies

Indian students in schools must not be loaded with too many Indian languages. European languages like German and French or Spanish can replace Sanskrit. I studies scholarly Sanskrit for over 7-8 years, and yet I feel that we must bestow priority onto living and active languages that will be useful for pursuit of business, commerce, education, industry, foreign collaborations and other areas of importance.
