This news is not approved by BJP. Monsoon is very bad and so India cannot continue to develop like last few years. Since the rain is not good, Inflation will also increase. And so the valuation of rupee will further decline and unemployment will increase. Congress and other opposition parties are just trying to spread rumors that we are going to have a normal monsoon so that they can blame BJP for slowness in growth.

Dam map
by paul sebastian on Aug 06, 2014 03:43 PM

Also rediff, can you please add the Dams to the map so that we know whether it has something to do with upcoming power shortage? For my knowledge, in Kerala the rain is short in major dam situated sites. If it is the same story with other states, the Energy sector is been targeted and the respective governments may start taking precautionary measures...

We should make projects to transfer the water from excess areas to deficient areas. This is the essence of development.
