I feel all unnecesary travels like hajj, shabari mala and tirumala yatra ,.. amarnath where people go looking for god should be banned,. it saves precious fuel... makes sense.
better spend that money for education and charity,. does it make sense?
Last 10 years they have consolidated with active support of a supportive Govt who encouraged and financed them for vote Bank Politics.India wii be Nigeria somalia Yemen Iraq and Libya all put together.We have dug our own grave .
Three brief observations - 1. Though Wahabism is debatable within the precincts of Islam, the summary that the editor has provided is rubbish and not how Wahabis see it. Case of poor research, especially on such a sensitive topic. 2. IB, we all understand how it would be under the BJP, and Ajit Doval as NSA! 3. Rediff is increasingly becoming pro-saffron in its reporting and op-ed. Initially after Modi coming to power it was kind of neutral but has drifted towards pro Modi camp. Seems like a well thought out strategy.

We acknoledge the truth in above report . As mentioned Saudi arabia and many gulf coutries are pumping money for mosques/madrasa etc. I am from Maharashtra I see this around me unbelivabley. Congress has spoiled maharashtra needs clean up by BJP ...today half of Kashmir is burning and will burn in future too ...I request all muslims to leave India settle where they feel secure and happy..
Where are the so called secularists? If the same happens in a Hindu temple, these politicians go out of the way to try and make the money public and make a hue and cry (Padmanabha temple in Trivandrum). Now they will be quiet. Disgusting. But the Muslims need to be careful. It will not just ruin the fabric of our country, but will envelope them as well.
