every ambitious has to do something which might never be fair on papers but practically unavoidable... one would have to take risk because guilty if caught...
It was reported long ago that this person was involved in a lot of wrongs. Inspite of a lot of opposition, he was awarded Padma Bhushan by the UPA Govt.
One glaring difference in the present case against Chatwal in US is that he paid illegal money to Political Funding. Wonder when we would see such action in India.
he will go to a nice sea side prison.His son is already in a rehab center for drugs/alcohol/cocaine /hash etc He can call Rahul and Sonia who would be free now for a nice party in us
to get others to steal for one is in the very core of the Indian psyche (as in the case of many other nations).
It is this psyche that persuades many Indians to shed their common sense and indulge their instincts even when they are in environs that are totally inimical to such acts.
A leopard can never shed its spots. And a typical Indian (who believes that the way to riches lies chiefly through the path of theft) can never shed what is ingrained in his psyche!
Congress awarded chattwal with a Padma Bhushan despite objections.There should be an inquiry in India how this award was given to him. Was the same modus operandi employed by him to get the award.Now will the Congress Government award him the Bharat Ratna if he channels some of his money to India.

Have you forgotten how BR was given to many reserved category on pressure and pleasing tactics
Do you remember Mr Chhatwal was awarded Padma Bhushan by Manmoham Singh Govt. Even then questions were raised about his integrity but were brushed aside by the Congress Govt. Bravo?
Pity Chatwal got fined in U.S. He should have doanted these dollors to our Leaders. He would jave got another Padam Vibhushan. Plus immunity from all financial irregilarities. Prime Land at throw away price for his Hotels.
