sorry for father, but cant blame the police
by sangeetha on May 03, 2014 01:10 AM

I feel sorry for the father, but cant blame the police. A young man carries a pistol and hijacks a city bus full of passengers . How's the police to know he is a sentimental boy and intended no harm. Why should police risk their own life and the life of innocent passengers to save a hijacker. In this country , people dont seem to care for life of policemen. No one thinks they are also human beings and they have families to feed. So be it. But what if the pistol got fired while police trying to disarm the young man ? an innocent passenger , even a child could have been killed. Even assuming, the young man was harmless, in the situation he is not a victim. But this is assumption. A loving father is not the best judge. For all we know, the young man who hijacks a citibus with a pistol may have dangerous streak of violence and could be working with dangerous people. Incidentally, passengers in the bus was aam admi too, because rich doesnt travel in citibus.

A country made pistol is enough to kill someone. You dont need AK47. There are nonviolent ways to protest against mistreatment of Biharis.

Kanu Singh
Given the Circumstances..
by Kanu Singh on Apr 16, 2014 06:45 PM

Only way I might have sympathized with Mr. K.P. Singh, if his son dropped his weapon and was offering to surrender but still Police shot him.

Anyway he is asking Justice for his son and to make sure Justice is done, I think Police should investigate the case from suicide angle as well.

Boy got no previous crime history, no accomplices, no escape plan and the incident happened on Diwali eve.

Their is a possibility that parents used to constantly foul mouth the boy and make huge demands from him for success in life.

Constant bullying by parents snapped his Mind one day, and he decided to give them grief and embarrassment as Diwali gift, by getting himself killed as criminal.

If above scenario got some truth, then below is an advice to avoid it.

Whether managing children or any other relation, it’s much like riding a Horse; ‘if you never pull the control-string, Horse will go wherever and do whatever, if you pull the string too much, then string might break or Horse jump hard in anger and throw you down’.

So as long as possible, don’t unnecessarily get rude or harsh with anybody, it might be counter- productive.

I am from Mumbai and I know that Mumbai Police will not carry out such a deadly operation without any reasons. The Police by all means would have tried to make this boy surrender. And Even thought he may not have fired any rounds of bullet , threatening innocent people with a Gun is something which is not acceptable.

Imagine your state of mind if you would have been in that bus. Any normal commuter would have scared to death. And who knew that in such a panic situation the Boy would not had fired any rounds of bullet on any person
