For the first time all old major political parties are fighting singly. DMK, Congress, AIADMK and communists are fighting only on the strength of their vote banks. Only BJP is fighting as a front of many parties. If the desire to have change combines with the vote banks of the individual parties of the front then there is likely hood of some surprises in the ensuing election.

It is going to be ab open clash between BJP led alliance and AIADMK. Traditional parties like DMK, Congress and Communists are going to draw blank this time.
