"The Prince" can only grasp what guru Machiavelli ponders if the Prince has certain level of Common Sense (forget intellectual prowess). To think of Baba becoming PM (esp. at the stage of evolution he is right now, chk out his interview with Arnab) would be a disaster for nation. Common folks the guy is not even a "mediocre" politician/leader/intellectual/Indian.

that will ruin Baba's poloitical future, he's no match to Modi. A NaMo vs RaGa match can only go one way.
That is the reason why he is not contesting. He has seated all other posts like finance minister, home minister etc. He knows that he will not get the plum post even though he wins. So better not to contest.
As a faithful subject of HIS MASTER Chidambaram has spoken in appreciation of his Master and his colorful dream for the Shehjadi of his Master.It is unfortunate that, even at this age with Cambridge degree he has failed read maturity slackness of his Shajadi. If such Sehjadi is imposed on the nation as PM at any time now or future INDIA undoubtedly will be a BIG LAUGHING STOCK of the world.
Of course I know Chidambaram will not read what I write and yet I am tempted to write. What are the qualities of a leader and how do Manmohan Singh, Rahul Gandhi and Chidambaram himself qualify to be leaders?

Chidambaram is cursed by Indians for imposing the hated Service Tax on everything including when you go to a restaurant.He along with MMS and Sonia are responsible for giving Indians the massive Corruption,Scams,Pricerise,Inflation and Malgovernance. And the fellow is now preaching to others.

The biggest sin is to keep countrymen devoid of any leadership. a PM whether Pt. Nehru, LBS, Indira or AB Vajpayei has always been a source of psycological strength that people could derive from them. But, to make a national leader out of "The Prince" (who isn't just cut out to be a leader/politician), Congress has compromised on PM's post. Pranab Da should have been the choice rather.
_chidu was sonia's sepoy no. 1 who made it possible for_gandhys to_loot india, by inventing what is called "participatory notes", a money _laundering instrument. _chidu thus changed the whole india into a criminal enterprise in bed with _isi, _drug lords, _gun runners, land _mafias and such.
