In the elections, some parties are doing the promise that they will eliminate corruption. First Please have a look at these points before casting your vote.
• While the Congress brought the RTI Act in 2005, RTI activists like Amit Jetwa were killed in Gujarat. The names of many BJP leaders came up in connection with his murder. His only fault: asking questions of the government.
• The Lokpal was brought in by the Congress but in Gujarat, the government did not appoint a Lokayukta for 10 years. When the Governor did appoint a Lokayukta, what did the state government do? It spent Rs 45 crore through an NGO to initiate legal proceedings against the appointment.
• The Supreme Court found Gujarat Minister Smt Anandiben Patel guilty in a land distribution case. But the government took no action against her and she still continues as a Cabinet Minister.
• The main accused in Rs 400 crore Fisheries Scam Shri Purshottam Solanki still continues to grace the Gujarat Cabinet with his presence. While Congress took action against those found guilty of corruption, Shri Yeddyurappa smoothly found his way back to the party after his stint in prison. The truth often gets drowned in the din of elections. This is especially so when the masters of lies and false propaganda have the highest decibels. We these are the truth in front of you. If you agree with these facts, please vote for CONG/UPA never BJP/NDA.JAI HINDN BHARAT MATA KI JAI. VOTE FOR CONGRESS.

Good that u have counted all the good work done by Congress. There are so many other big steps country took during Congress regime like the Pokaran and space launchers. But big scams also occurred during their regime - starting with Jeep scandal in Nehru period and these were institutionalized by Indira Gandhi. The big question is why US and other western countries should feel pain in their stomach when India is going to polls or doing some thing independently. Modi or no Modi - it is none of their concern. US had sleepless nights when PVN had decided to do Nuclear explosion in 1998. They were successful in their negative efforts but PVNR got it done thru his successor Atal Bihari Vajpayee. It was a credit to PVNR acknowledged by ABVajpayee.

Comments of Shashi Chaurasi are one-sided as he ignores the failures of Cong/UPA. His comments seem to be sponsored propaganda of CONG. We should assess the political objectively and not merely quote biases statistics.

As an Indian, we are all proud of our IITs, IIMs and AIIMS.
We started them but we have made some good progress in the last 10 years. The first of IITs (Kharagpur, Mumbai, Kanpur, Chennai and Delhi) were set up when Pandit Nehru was the Prime Minister of India. Those were the days when India was laying the foundations of a modern Republic and an industrial nation.
IIT Guwahati was set up in 1994 and was a part of the Assam Accord which was signed between Rajiv Gandhi and AASU.
The NDA was in power between 1998 and 2004 and all they did during this period was rename the Roorkee Engineering College as an IIT.
In the last 10 years, we have seen IITs come up at Bhubaneswar, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Jodhpur, Patna, Ropar, Indore, Mandi while BHU Varanasi was renamed as an IIT in 2012.
We have added 9 IITs in the last 10 years. The previous NDA government only renamed Roorkee Engineering College as an IIT.
Now, about the IIMs. The first set of IIMs were set up in Kolkata and Ahmedabad when Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was the Prime Minister. IIM Banagalore was set-up in 1973 when Smt Indira Gandhi was the Prime Minister while IIM Lucknow was set up in 1984 when Rajivji had just taken over.
The next two IIMs (Indore, Kozhikode) were set up in 1996 during the Narasimha Rao days. In the last 10 years, UPA has added 7 IIMs at Shillong, Rohtak, Ranchi, Raipur, Tiruchirappalli, Udaipur and Kashipur. No other political party has set up an IIM in India, except the INC. CONT.........

cont.from above:India has a total of 7 AIIMS. We did the first one in 1956 and we have done the remaining 6 at Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur and Rishikesh. If you thought that the BJP/NDA had made a contribution, the answer is NO.
So what about the Moon and Mars?
Just in case you missed it. We did send Chandrayan into space, India's first unmanned lunar probe. It was launched by the Indian Space Research Organisation in October 2008.
Mangalyan was launched on 5 November 2013 and is expected to reach Mars in September this year.
For us, CONGRESS/UPA done all of this because it was right for India.
NOW You have 2 decide which party is better INC or BJP then VOTE accordingly. JAI BHARAT JAI CONGRESS.

Is Stopping Modi............west Priority?
by SUDHIR PARASHER on Apr 09, 2014 08:39 AM

This has been there from last thousands of years whether it is west 0r Moguls or Arabs or Turks or Greeks or Mongols or Chinese. They want us to be dependent upon them and they will continue to suck our blood and keep us slaves economically. So Dear Indians time has come not to play in their hands and elect a person/party who will do good to you. Ignore all these western opinions. These opinions are based on their national interests and not necessarily in our welfare.

West & Indian democracy

West had never wanted any Asian country to prosper and when they fail in their efforts, they subjugate such economies (as they did with Japan). They have significantly tried to do this with China, but owing Chinese determination West(read US) got only a body blow from China. China has become an economic power on its own without seeking any help from the West and today is posing a real challenge to US. This is exactly Narendra Modi wants to replicate in this country. Our over dependence on West (read US) has made us subservient to them. Reforms are required in an open economy, but it cannot be at the diktat of the West. To solve this country's problems created by the Gandhi family over six decades, the only solution lies with NaMo. I have been a regular subscriber to The Economist for over three years and have found this magazine, while being very rationale in dealing with Western countries, is totally biased when coming to Asian powers. China has acquired importance in this magazine only during the past decade because of its growth and challenge to the West.

A leader who is assertive, aggressive and to some extent arrogant. A market for 1.25 billion headcount, a sixth of the whole world is no joke. Can the West even afford to ignore ? Even if the whole world isolates India, can the country survive ?

The answer is YES. We have all the resources to survive and lead respectable life. Could the West stand to their sanctions after Pokhran II ? Didn't IBM and Coca-Cola come back begging after being thrown out in 1977.

India needs a daring and radical leader, neither a puppet nor a person with trade union mindset.

You are absolutely true. Don't know when people of India will realise that we also deserve self-respect, self-identity, self-sufficiency, without depending on the west? How long more the west has to decide our fate, decide how we want to live and run our own country?
