The government at the center should frame a comprehensive policy to make the north east safe for rest of Indians who go there on assignments.They should hold dialogue with all the separatist groups operating as insurgents in this area and whose only activity is killing and kidnapping ordinary Indian citizens.
In North East militancy is a cottage industry ,it is only a means to make some quick money by resorting to rampant kidnapping,extortion ,killing ,etc .For general information the tribal are a majority and they profess Christianity ,they wield the power as far as policing ,administering is concerned in many of the states .Recently few NOn-tribals shops are burned in Shillong ,in Meghalaya in the name of ILP .Non -tribals are regularly persecuted in North East .No national media highlights these incidents .Whereas if a single tribal face any discrimination it is immediately focused in media.Many tribals in North East feels just by being tribal they can act as they like and they are above law and all their acts of criminality is above any questions .One can also notice the fact that most of the victims of militants were Non-tribals .They consider Non-tribals are aliens.In any people's movements carried by Tribals(militants) in North East targets the Non-tribals by burning their houses,their business establishments, killings,abduction ,torture ,etc.

@neeluri,they care the least who are working for nation.In North East militancy is a cottage industry to make quick money in the garb of absurd ideology.
