I think people are dragging this Miss USA thing too much. To be honest, this event might be a big thing in our country, but a non-event in USA. This non-event got a bit more media coverage just because of this 1ady winning the competition (or rather made to win by the sponsors :-))

When people of a community succeed in another place, they never ever give any credit to the acceptance of the native population that made it possible. They take all the credit themselves.
