There is no doubt that in UPA-1, Bengal Brigade of Comreds, ruin the show and when they could not do much in UPA2 we have another Bengal old tiger Pranab daa.. with Comred's policy..!! Weahter it is Vodaphone fiasco or any other policy decision, he made sure there is red in every thing he does!! When FII did not have much choice they stayed now they showd govt thum down and this is not repairable!
congress says let people decide but they are ok to bribe or pacify or do something but need to be in power, that is their main aim till the country goes dry. and they will go off the country. media people even now painting a positive picture about this.
Sonia made a big blunder by shunting out Pranabda into Rashtrapathi Bhavan for its mean advantage. If he were the PM, the Congress party would have been on a different coarse today. His strong-footed economic policy, value-based foreign policy and all such burning issues should have caused restitution of peoples' confidence in the party. Everything is shattered! Now the balm is to do no major change as long as the party is headed by vision-less leadership! The party is stressing on its policy of mud-slinging talks as a measure of building up peoples' confidence; that's not going to work any more! The party today does not have one person to be chosen to stand to the qualities of Pranabda! So the ill-gotten decision from 10th Janpath continues to haunt the party without real alternative right now, particularly when Rahul is a disappointment;not even worth mentioning for any lead role of constructive change!

Remember that Sonia's hand was forced to support Pranab due to Mamta.Sonia wanted to make Ansari President.Pranab knows everything about the Gandhi family.
We as a nation have taken the path to grow with a human face. We do not want to sacrifice and undergo some hardship for the present or for time but have decided to perpetually linger our pain to grow with a human face. Perhaps this is the price we have to pay in a democracy. Contrast this with what General Park did for South Korea after he took over the Govt. in a military coup from President Syngman Rhee. The results are there for all to see. In the foundation day lecture of a Nava Ratna public sector company a former Delhi University vice-chancellor and economist was eloquently speaking how India has been able to tide over the economic slow down then faced by the West by the stimuli of sixth pay commission award implementation and other populist packages. A small man and no economist I had then pointed out to him that his would not last. Further an economy cannot be strong by major contribution of service sector and not contribution from agriculture and industry. After all service sector is a derived sector and it has virtually no existence without the primary sectors of economy. We have neglected agriculture and manufacturing over years. We are having Ganapati idols imported from China!
