Agree fully
by Prem Mohan on Sep 11, 2013 03:25 PM  | Hide replies

On second thoughts, I agree fully with Mr Jairam Ramesh. Indians can accept only those leaders who are from good family background and are decent and dignified.

How can we accept a chai-pakora wallah to aspire for the post of PM? Only people from illustrious families are suitable to be PM. And Mr Rahul Gandhi is from an illustrious family.

Manish Tiwari and Diggi are also a congressman
by sujit chitale on Sep 11, 2013 03:22 PM

It seems that Jairam does not listen to way in which Manish Tiwari or Diggiraja speak in public as official spokesmen of Congress.

If he has listened to them then he would not dare to say that way of Modi is not way of Congress.

Congress wants to be aggressive when they can suppress the opponents like Anna but starts crying foul when someone like Modi gives them back in their token.

Fashionable
by Prem Mohan on Sep 11, 2013 03:19 PM

In the Congress, it is the fashion for leaders to say that they do not want the poisoned chalice of power. They accept power reluctantly only if forced to do so by the people. This is rank hypocrisy.

If the Congress is so sure of their ground, why don't they ignore upstarts like Narendra Modi? What is the need to discuss him all the time?

Congress workers like Mr Jairam Ramesh should keep their minds focused on their own leaders -- Mdm Sonia Gandhi, Dr Manmohan Singh, Mr Rahul Gandhi, Ms Priyanka Gandhi and Dr Robert Vadra.

You don't know Mr Rahul Gandhi? That is amazing. Look around you. Majority of the people of India, particularly the minorities and weaker sections of society, are clamouring for him to accept the post of PM.

Funny comment - minorities weaker section does not equal majority of the people.

Why only 302. Why not 543.

India is a parliamentary democracy. The Congress has to allot some seats to the opposition also.

If secular character is measured by number of seats allotted to opposition then why not allot 543 seats to opposition and Congress can claim that they are 100 percent secular.
