Zubin Mehta's concert in Kashmir

This morning the first thing I watched was the start of this concert where the german came to speak and said I BOW TO KASHMIRIS.....

SEE HOW THE GERMANS SLAPPED YOU IN THE FACE AS WELL HINDUS...SHAME ON GERMANS.

Of course a nice gesture but for whom - highfliers, who r used to goi to ballets etc. the audience should have been the brave hearted Kashmiris. The ones who r always in the line of fire

nice music, but to what end? most in the audience were probably not from kashmir.

Also, the music was not up to Zubin Mehta's standards. I have been listening to him for nearly 50 years now, and this was one of his lesser performances. May be the beginning itself put me off, because it was a ***politically motivated intrusion*** by an incompatible format, or may be it was the poor accoustics, unfit for a western symphony orchestra.
