Zubin Mehta and the Bavarian Orchestra in Kashmir
by Cyril Pereira on Sep 07, 2013 07:08 PM

Ambassador Steiner & Mrs Steiner deserve deep appreciation for hosting this unique live music orchestra for guests in Kashmir. These occasions are rare, and Maestro Zubin Mehta & the Bavarian Orchestra musicians have won the hearts of all those who have peace in their hearts & share love for music.May this event be a new beginning of an era of genuine peace & tranquility for the people of Kashmir of all faiths & religious persuasion.May permanent peace return to this State, & hopefully eventually bring the whole of Kashmir together by a tripartite arrangement between parties involved in the past conflict Jai Hind

"If there is a heaven on earth, it's here, it's here, it's here"
was said by Mughal Emperor Jahangir
and NOT Aamir Khusrau as wrongly mentioned in this article.

While you talked about 'Ehsas-e-Kashmir' orchestra in Shalimar it would have been nice to talk of 'Haqeeqat-e-Kashmir' program at Pratap Park Srinagar which exposed human rights violationsin Kashmir...

You can say this cos you happen to be part of a democratic country...appreciate that!

The so called moderates in Kashmir are sulking cos they don't have the guts to antagonize the hardliners.

The kashmiri pandits dis not deserve any human rights ?
where were you then ?
