Everyone agrees that we must have an effective and impartial Lokayukta.The CM of a state is even more important than a nominated Governor.He cannot be ignored. Most of the Governors appointed by Congress have been sent to do its bidding. Many of them have been criticized by courts in the past for their partial conduct.
Karnataka has Governor Bharadwaj appointed by Congress for services rendered to the Gandhi family.He as Law Minister had ordered the defreezing of Quottrochi's frozen bank account in UK.Quottrochi cleaned up the account the next day and ran away to Italy with the loot.
Even Lokayukta Santosh Hegde was partial and went after Yeddy and left our former Congress CMs like Krishna,Dharam Singh and JDS's Kumaraswamy even though he commented about them.Everyone knew that Yeddy was a petty thief compared to Congress dacoits. Modi is right in opposing the gameplan of Congress and the biased Media.

This completely showcase that if BJP comes to power in the Centre, they will demean all legal institutions like lokayukta. All self-styled godmen will be protected as none of the BJP leaders thought of speaking against in the Asaram case. Morever, BJP is showing desepration to come to power in 2014 by stooping to any level.

what about BJP r they clean? in fact they r worst. Karnatakka, HP, UK Bihar and JK booted out. lost 5 states in 6 months. left with only 3 now and that 2 will go in the next elections.
