Preeently NDMA is run mostly by retired echelons of buerocracy who consider it as a old age home for them and also a heaven to misuse the public money.
India shall take 30 to 40 years to reach the status quo of implementing /Practicing US federal Emergency Management.This is possible only if the management is sincere a tough for the beaurocrats and politicians in India who still believe they are rulers not partcipants.

Thank you TV channels for your images showing thatOrissa&andhra states are comparable to any african nation!& for showing our deep poverty to all world too!Shame that even after 55 years of crooked nehru dynasty rule,we have 500 million indians straving to death, what a shame! If there was no use of high technology, we would have lost thousands and thousand of lives too! BUT WHY THE TECHNOLOGY WAS NOT USED AND NO PREACUATIONS TAKEN TO PREVENT LOSS OF THOUSANDS OF LIVES OF HINDU PILGRIMS IN UTTARAKHAND RECENTLY??? BEACUSE THE LIVES LOST WERE NOT VOTE BANKS PERHAPS???Hope the poltical cyclone of 2014 will eliminate all dacoits&looters&demons&demonesses forever!The TV images in TV channels has shown the plight of millions of poor in andhra and orissa too and shame even after 55 year crooked dynasty rule we have 500 million indians starving to death& it is time to kick out all dacoits&looters who have NOT cared for the people who voted them BUT Cared ONLY for their loot and deposit in swiss bank accounts,etc,etc, what a shame!
