Bullshit article

Cryogenic program never stopped and our scientists still working on it. This is lack of technical expertise and we failed to copy the russian supplied cryo engines where chinese succeded. This is purely scientists failure and not to blame anybody. This article author seems to be facinated by jamesbond kind of movies and cooked up this article. Our scientists could not copy or reenigineer or reverse engineer the technology. russinas already supplied this technology to us but we are not like chinese who can copy anything what ever they see. This is most complex technology and we need better scientists. To achieve this ISRO should act as equal opportunity employer and recruit or groom scientists from Northern side of the country as well. Why it only recruit most of the scientists from southern part of the country?

Privatization of research and manufacture is the final solution of the foreign espionage problem. Government controls will always protect traitors and foreign spies.

More students need to chose careers in strategic areas which might not always be financially lucrative. However the entire current generation of youngsters are striving to become well paid clerks and managers rather than scientists or engineers. It is an imitation American culture. That is a greater danger to India than the spying.

Who killed....
by Rajendra Banerjee on Nov 20, 2013 03:46 AM  | Hide replies

Rajeeb Srinivasan has tried hard to shed light on the possible culprits in the failure of India's effort to develop cryogenic engine technology for GSLV. Whoever may be the external enemy involved in this affaire, the main enemies are certainly the Indians themselves. With the hypocritical pseudo-secular politicians abundantly available through out the country, especially in Kerala; one does not need to spend so much investigative efforts to find out who did it. One thing is certain, that the main culprits are the pseudo-secular Indian politicians. As for the beauty aspect of the females involved in this case, it's totally irrelevant for the purpose. The victims of rape cases in India are not of particularly angelic beauty; yet that did not dissuade the rapists to do their heinous acts.

I am not a supporter of the Psedo-Seculars but both Morarji Desai Government ( where Vajpaee was a foreign Minister) and Vajpayee Government acted against the interest of India.

Morarji Desai threatened the Soviet Union that India will disconnect her relationship with the USSR, although USSR was the only friend of India in 1977 and did everything for the Space Research and Nuclear Research in India. Vajpayee went to China and declared that Tibet is a part of China. Jaswant Singh gave $10 Bilion to the UK to get 50 years old Hawk aircrafts and nearly devalued India`s relationship with Russia.
Now the Psudo-secular and Hindutvabadi are both pro-American, but it was Bill Clinton who ruined india`s space Research, George Bush made Pakistan stronger than India regarding nuclear weapons, Reagan helped pakistan to get nuclear weapons and missiles, Nixon sent 7th Fleet to attack India in 1971.

I wonder. Most of thee development took place with the patronisation of Congress leaders. Just to be reminded that the atomic bomb was exploded by NDA within one month of coming to power. Why not give due recognition to the contribution of Congress Party. Blind anti congress sentiment will undermine our nation building effort
