Cameron visits north east Srilanka
by ravindra kumar on Nov 16, 2013 08:04 PM

Hats off to Cameron. He has done what no minister from India dared to do.He has spoken out the truth as well.As for our Central Govt. (be it Congress or BJP) a fisherman from Kerala is an Indian fisherman, but a fisherman of Tamilnadu is only a TAMILNADU FISHERMAN. All the MPs from Tamilnadu should hang their heads in shame.Rajapakshe should be tried for war crimes much as the Nazis were.

Our Prime Minister, foreign Minister, Defence Minister, leader of the ruling party are not Hindus.
Our Prime Minister is Sick
Defence Minister is a Christian
Foreign Minister is a Pakistani from Aligarh
Leader of the Ruling Party and the Prince are both Catholics
All Hindus in India whether Bengali or Gujarati, Tamil or Kashmiri, are with the cause of the Tamils of Sri Lanka.
Wait for Modi.
Rajapakse will be dragged to The Hague to stand trial in the International Court of Justice.

First let him save his own "people" like Maya Kodnani, Vanzara, Pandiyan who were "offered as scapegoats". All these people are behind bars or facing charges just because they "executed obediently" the orders of their "Master" who has now 'tacitly moved on" for greater political mileage leaving behind his loyal ones to suffer imprisonment, death and misery?

All the convicted and accused ones of Best Bakery, Naroda Patiya and fake encounter cases were instigated indirectly by your PM aspirant and at the time of "judgement" he parted the ways from his own "ideological friends" so that they can face the prosecution and death.

Art Of Public Relation
by Balan Iyer on Nov 16, 2013 01:03 PM

India is a total failure in the department of Public Relations as all the Prime Minsters right from Pt Nehru onwards, could never match up to the wave lengths of our neighboring countries. Hence as a result,India is in an unenviable position of having enmity with all the neighbors including Burma,Nepal and now Sri Lanka.

Diplomacy vs crime
by arvind kayan on Nov 16, 2013 12:47 PM

When many world leaders are confirming their commitment to investigate the war crimes against Tamils in Sri Lanka, their own country of origin is feasting with the purported ofoffenders instead of asking them to rectify their misdeeds. This is appalling.

Mr Khurshid is representing India against the wishes of most Indian's in the name of diplomacy and India's stand in international forum. Accepted, that might be true but this does not absolve India from its responsibility. If PM Cameron could personally visit the affected and take the Sri Lankan Govt. hands on, there is no reason for India to remain silent. Relation between the two countries are good but the people suffer.

The congress Govt. has once again shown that they do not care about anyone except their own agenda and the need to remain in power. Strangely, for unknown reasons, the policy of appeasement always remains high on the agenda of the Congress.

India 's Role on Srilankan warcrimes
by Tamil on Nov 16, 2013 11:18 AM  | Hide replies

It is pathetic and worry for indians like us on india's stand when countries like Canada ,Norway and Britain are caring for Tamils genocide. They are not just silent but india is calling srilanka a friendly country and providing arms and training which is used against tamils. Vajpayee is the one who rightly denied to assist srilanka.

We express our solidarity and sympathy for our Tamil brothers and sisters suffering in Sri Lanka.

An unwarranted piece of advice to Tamil Diaspora: Stop begging or looking forward to Central Govt. of India who has no clear cut policies right from the beginning and you can't expect anything from a country or a govt. who is not capable of setting its own house in order. Indian govt. is too weak to deal with such issues. It is expert in keeping the issues "pending" with no concern for people within the country or Indians across the globe

We should seek co operation from UN and "human rights" organization that can intervene and pressurize in a peaceful and democratic way to bring an immediate end to the sorry state of Tamilians.

It's really a pity that an ethnic group which consttitutes one of the "oldest living civilizations with very rich and ancient culture and tradition" with unparalleled contribution to human history is reeling under such conditions and that too with no hope from the country or so called "homeland" to which they originally belong to.

Cameron, British role should be investigated as well?
by SHAKTI SANATAN on Nov 16, 2013 10:19 AM  | Hide replies

Cameron, you are right that there should be "proper" investigation in the Sri Lankan alleged "war crimes".

But answer these question, Cameron:--

Who was Anton Balasingham?

His Australian wife was the chief of the "women's tiger wing" -- What role did the British play through his Australian wife?

Balasingham allegedly used to be an "employee" of British High Commission in Colombo and used to travel the world on "British Passport" -- IS THIS TRUE?

Balasingham was probably the "boss" and "ideologue" of Prabhakaran!!!

And there are millions of "unanswered" question!!??

So, among many questions, what was the "British ROLE" in the Sri Lankan "GAME"??

Hopefully, the premier of Sri Lanka should set up "A TRUTH COMMISSION" to find out the role of Britain and any other countries involved in the Sri Lankan "GAME".

AND THEN, THE TRUTH SHALL BE REVEALED -- CAMERON, EXACTLY WHAT YOUR SUBTLE INTENTIONS MAY BE!!!!!!!!!!!????????????????

LET THE SHOW BEGIN ........................

Balasingam was settled in Britan and was a British citizen. That doesn't mean he has to keep quiet on singhalese atrocities. You singhalese moron don't bring 1948 stories to hide the genocide and atrocities commited.

By not going, our PM has alienated the Sri Lankan Tamils, and has lent credence to those now stoking the fires of Secession.

Correct they aided and abetted the genocide even sent arms military gave logistics economic and protected them diplomatically. Many in the current Congress regime have blood in their hands. Many Indians are not aware that there were around 10000 crack Indian troops fighting alongside the Sinhalese in the Vanni in May 2009. Now these troops are using the terror tactics tht they learnt here on the Dravidian and Munda tribal in the Naxalite belt
