He is the accused. He should be given a chance to explain his involvement before taking a decision. Even a murderer caught red handed gets a chance to be heard.
Why Raja is discussing about jpc Like raja, all the culprits are to be punished and all their property should be freezed and transfer the same to the govt. or to poor people.

All the culprits, including those in the ruling party who the chairman is shielding.
In the criminal jurisprudence ,the accused must be given an opportunity to explain his conduct and even cross examine the prosecution if he wants .In the instant case the JPC played a dual role both as the prosecutor dual and judge .

The sentencing guidelines of India are not like in the US. And hence , the accused can not cross examine the prosecution.

To put it simplistically, if RAJA accuses the prosecution of conspiracy, or dubious motives, the onus of proving it is entirely on him under the US law. Take the case of Rajat Gupta.

What happens in this circumstances is that, if Raja is found guilty of misleading the prosecution, he will be in prison for life with no parole (no bail). Along with him go other scum bags.

In India , it is different. The 'Criminal' is not allowed to cross examine the prosecution. So , then the criminal is given free time to say whatever lies he wants to say on camera.
That is where the system is faulty. Too much freedom. And too many criminals with free speech
No govt in the world can survive with the massive scams like in Congress rule. Still Congress could survive, this can only happen in India. Congress from 1947= Loot India Movement!!
