Sreesanth
by Aniket Lal on May 29, 2013 08:04 PM

Sreesanth has been nothing , but a cry baby of Indian cricket who just wants cheap publicity . It will not be a surprise if he is seen on Big Boss next year.

by yellaragudda on May 29, 2013 06:50 PM

our politicians, most successful people of this country , who rule this country and live like maharajas of yesteryears are highly corrupt.the only mantra for their success is corruption.they are todays role models for our younger generation.
it's very normal to be attracted to such success and easy corrupt money.

Kid

Sreesanth is no kid to get lured into fixing by just one slap.If he felt so insulted he should have complained to cops and taken Bhajji to court.Lets not get fooled by this logic of Sreesanth. I think Bhajji should have slapped him 100 times so that he would not have seen the present day.

This fictitious slapgate story will not hold waters anymore. Sreeshanth is not a child to fall victim to any such mischivous play. He has certainly opted to it by being greedy of money on first part; only then other baiting theories would have found place. One may bring out story after story but nothing would make it to any logical end in so far as Sree's guilt is concerned. He is guilty and he will have to face the trial for its judicious conclusion. If the media reports are correct, he is gone crazy with money he earned in dubious conduct, and the way he turned spent-spree, there cannot be any doubt about his guilt. India needs to foster young players of clean conduct and we do have several of them waiting for opportunities in all discipline of sporting events! Why should we need to shoulder such dirty characters heavy burdened? Let us discard these bad elements from sports and bring in those who are not amenable to spoil the spirit of game! Thanks to media for the excellant exposure but for which such dirts would have remined under carpet forever and such uncivilized characters would have continued to enjoy the freedom of money spinning business; unmindful of any adversarial social reaction!

absolutely right. Such person should be thrown infront of tiger but our Govt. is useless. The way this Govt. saved Md. Azrudin and allowed to sit in a sacred place is shameless act.

IPL was made specifically for betting purposes
by Rajesh Chheda on May 29, 2013 04:37 PM

IF BETTING ON CRICKET DID NOT EXIST, IPL WOULD HAVE WOUND OUT YEARS BACK.

Betting on cricket involves millions of individuals around the globe. Let's say a city like Mumbai would have around half a million betters, Jaipur quarter million , Delhi NCR around quarter million, Chennai 2 lakhs, Bengaluru 3 lakhs, Kolkatta one lac, Ahemdabad 2 lacs, the list goes on and on.........
It is these punters who are main target of IPL and as for others, they get all the enjoyment virtually free of cost.
The legal business of IPL is heavily loss making that many team owner's financial troubles are out in the open. Cash losses to the tune of hundreds of crores have been borne by the teams which need to be recovered.
IPL betting scene offers opportunity to recover those losses and make decent profit by fixing games, fixing spots as well as other methods like accepting bet on which player will not be in playing eleven etc.........

It may be illegal but it is not immoral to recover your losses.

IF BETTING ON CRICKET DID NOT EXIST, IPL WOULD HAVE WOUND OUT YEARS BACK.

Slapgate made Sreesanth vulnerable to fixing
by Dr jaya rao on May 29, 2013 04:01 PM

JAI SUNDARAM.Match Fixing/Spot Fixing/Self Fixing
Modi conceived IPL.-BCCI agreed for IPL--IPL made Harbhajan slap Sreesanth--slap made Sreesanth "FIX" So who is the real Culprit. All this in the lighter vein. Now the REAL thing."TO BE TEMPTED IC NOT A CRIME-BUT TO FALL A PREY TO TEMPTATION IS A CRIME" So the real culprit is Sreesanth. The Honey traps should have been taped.-Reslt.Black mailer being Black Mailed. In spite of all the evidence nothing can be proved.Sreesanth gets the benifit of doubt.Result- Aqital. As he cannot get int cricket.he gets int "Last Resort Of Every Scoundral" Politics.Who knows he might end up as President BCCI.It is time for the present players, past players to SPEAK UP.Clear up their conscious.Tell the authorities what all they know.If every one speaks up I do not see any reason why the guilty should not be punished.Once convicted no body will vote for you.So one less crook in the decision/law making set up. Lesson learnt and to be Implemented.ALL PAST AND PRESENT PLAYERS SPEAK UP.Give CRICKET A CHANCE TO BE A GENTLE MAN'S GAME.Do not give any body to say "But this is not Cricket"Dr(Brig)Maremanda Jaya Rao
