BJPee Controlled State Intelligence deliberately ignored warnings & did not provide Security Advise & Cover. As per Jogi, hundreds of Securitymen were provided for BJPee Convoys & Yatras, but for this Congress Convoy, there were reportedly some 5-10 persons. Raman Singh's Home dept.'s Intelligence failed to notice the movement, gatherings of thousands of Naxalites in the area infested by naxals on the route through which the Kongrace envoy was scheduled to pass.
In fact this is nothing surprising..since even in Gujarat in 2002, Ehsan Jafri, a former Kongrace MP, also had frantically called the City Commissioner of Police several times as the crowd was gathering outside their Colony. He had even reportedly called to CM Office. But there was no help at all and the rest is history. Narendra Mowdy later promoted many of such Police Officers with plum and key postings.
Raman Singh may also follow Mowdy path & may promote & honour those Policemen involved with their failing in this gruesome act.
Now it is an outside question whether there was anything deliberate or some collusion of BJPee and Naxals, which has to be investigated. All in all, more Kongrace men have been martyred in BJPee ruled states. In Ahmedabad, it has been established that it was an act of collusion & deliberate, while in C’Garh case, it has to be investigated. Is it not surprising that Ajit Jogi did not receive even a scratch while his likely competitors in case of a Congress victory have either been wounded or killed? I suspect his hand in the entire carnage.

Why were senior Congress leaders like Vidya Charan Shukla going on a jungle jaunt and that too along with the spearhead of the anti-naxal movement? As Ms Bhatt has astutely observed, the Naxals were worried about their dwindled numbers, and assumed that this was a clarion call for their final finish-off, and decided that attack was the best form of defence, and one might as well be hanged for a wolf as for a lamb.

It may have been planned by Ajit Jogi because he was feeling the heat because Congress top leadership was getting cosy with veteran V C Shukla and his US returned son.

Yes we need a militant organization on the lines of the Naxals. But not the present one which deviated from the main goal and turned into extortion machine which is damaging the tribal life in connivance with the MNCs. It is impossible to educate the foolish electorate who fall for a few bottles of liquor or a TV set a dhoti and a sari.
If Sheela Bhat is trying to curry favor with Maoists, so be it.But MORE than condemning the Maoists, Bhat MUST be severely strictured for her comment...a message to complacent politicians.Her freedom of speech comes from the democratic values that India has.SHE should be careful NOT to utter such casual statements. I suppose she is an ardent supporter of Kasab and the likes, who ALSO tried to spread mayhem in India.

Why are you objecting to Sheela Bhat calling our politicians complacent? Are they not. What have they done to solve the problem? In spite democracy, our politicians are totally disconnected from people. Why people have to resort to dharna, bandh etc to attract the attention of their elected representatives? Why Anna Hajare had to resort to fast to attract attention to corruption? Is it not for the politicians to proactivly take steps? Our politicians are just continuation of British.

Because she is CURRYING favour with insurgents.She should thank her lucky stars that she was born in India, and as a journalist she can say ANYTHING.If you just READ the the statements of American politicians and journalists thereof after the recent NY bombings as also the killing of the British soldier in England by so called whatsover they maybe, you will learn the difference between in jounalism and love for ANYONE of any political colour or shade, as practiced there and here in India. Though all forms of voilence is bad.It is good that the congress has been sent a strong message that if you continue to Loot & Plunder the way they are doing such incidences are bound to have a multiplied cascading effects on our Striffled social Value System where the rich get's away with everything they want whereas the Majority Masses are forced to live in inhuman conditions of Deprived Living & no opportunity to sustain their minimum basic needs of Food,Water,Clothes,Shelter, Road & Electricity
I don't understand what these special forces are doing like cobra gang, BSF, CRPF etc. are they interested in their salaries only. just see the footage on TV channels, u will find how pathetically these forces are trained . I am sure they got the job not by their talent/physical strength, but by paying some bribe etc. We all know how poor these naxalites are. How can they overpower such special forces is a matter of investigation.

Rulers r filling up their foreign bank accounts with money from various scams and bribes from MNCs etc and they'r least interested in solving common man's problems. Today read a news that in Myanmar (Burma) the govt has limited no of children in M families to 2 and has also banned multiple wifes. But our govt is deaf and dumb to population explosion
