The Naxals movement
by daniel thorat on May 26, 2013 07:31 PM

What Naxals did and are doing is a fierce revenge against what they perceive as wrong by the govt. There are wrongs, corruption, injustice, violence and crime being suffered by others also in this country, but they are either not inflamed enough, are not united or still have hopes that things will improve. Every single unethical, immoral, sinful or criminal activity by any body needs to be punished swiftly and severely for bringing law and order in this country. If this is done, all citizens including Naxals would surely get their needs met. If this is not done, other groups could gravitate towards radicalism. UPA has not only failed but has aggravated the estrangement and chasm between the haves and the have nots, and that something that is wrong with our economists needs to be rectified.

Congress & BJP has called off their Yatras.

Politicians who were carrying self attested report cards of what they have done in the name of development and their glowing achievements as the ruling parties of the nation.....

Direct war never successful
by sirisha k on May 26, 2013 02:57 PM  | Hide replies

Government is fighting a directing war with naxals. But the enemy is never visible. They are fighting under the cover of darkness, hiding in jungles or any other secrect war fare. Just deploying CRPF or BSF in large numbers will not serve any purpose. They are very effective if the enemy is visible. But he the case is different. To counter them, we have to strengthen our intelligence network. Police should develop strong intelligence network in tribal areas (Developing informer system). Some ten years back Andhra pradesh was hot bed of naxals. Even some areas are under their control at that time. But now Naxallite movement is not at all visible in AP.
The police officers in AP developed a elite commando force called 'Grey hounds'. This force is specially trained for this in jungle war fare and almost all eliminated top leaders of naxalites. Other states also employ this type of techniques. They should take the services of police officers of that time.

Thank you, Rediff Moderator for flinching at the mention of white dressed, white colored, politician criminals who commit equally serious crimes but live out their days through bails, elections, battery of expensive lawyers. They also need to be weeded out.

All Our Problems including naxalism, poverty, misery terror, etc are Due to our Rotten Election and Voting Systems! What a shame! To Make india a true and well-meaning working democracy we MUST have the Following Reforms without any Delay 1) Voting Must be made compulsory for all indian citizens above the age of 21 and those NOT voting wihtout adwaue health or travel reaosn must be Jailed or Fined Heavily 2) All elctions wihtout 95% voting must be considered NOT valid&electios continued till 95% Voting is done 3) No candidate must be allowed to compete for more than 2 Terms of assembly and parliament 4) term of assmebly and [arliament MUST be reduced to 3 Years ONLY 5) Unless eletronic voting machines(EVM) are made hacker-proof and rigging-proof and have facility yo issue paper receipts of their voting to ALL voters, EVMs must Not be Used and Paper Balloting and Manual countring of votes must be Introduced Immediately ,6) Hope above election&voting reforms are implemented wihtout any more delay too!

CG govt's lackadaisal attitude
by vilas apte on May 26, 2013 11:41 AM  | Hide replies

Karma was the pioneer of Salwa Judum, though he was a tribal and from the Congress party,he devised a method for weaning away the tribals ,and Salwa Judum was adopted with full vigour by the BJP govt of CG. Karma became a marked man for the Maoist, and this was well known to the CG govt, thus full proof security should have been provided to the Congress party convoy, touring the interior dense forest areas of Sukma & Dantewada districts-the 2 most Naxal affected ones. However, the police were on VIP duty as the CG govt's "Vikas Yatra" rallies were being conducted in each of the districts of CG.Congress has suffered a massive blow with the death of 3-4 big leaders and grievous injuries to few others.Had the election been held in,a month or so,Congress could have reaped on the sympathy wave, but public memory being short, 5-6 months is too long a period.

When dacoits and looters loot and majority ignore the loot and continue to sleep, some brave men react, that is a surprise in a banana republic of one billion morrons? The british looters and dacoits were so clever that they used their gwnt mkgandhee and rik of nonviolence to brianwash and fool all indians to make them morrons&ennuchs&cowards forever and this helped the british looters to loot trillions and trillions of dollars wihout getting hurt or killed too! Remember crooked westerners praise mkagdnhee and nonvioelnce 24 hours a day for past 200 years, BUT USE violence 24 hours a day to solve all their problems for the past 2000 years including last 200 years too!Yes when media and intellectals become cheer leaders of looters&dacoits only naxals can help???Some people are asking why soonia was not present though she was supposed to be presenet there, folks???why soonia was absent from the rally when rajeev was killed folks??? she was supposed to attaned and withdrw the last minute after a phone call previous day of arjeee murder too, folks!Any explnanations???Yes since one billion hindoos and indians are morrons and enneuchs&sleeping, ONLY naxals can save this nation from looters&dacoits and prevent hindustan beconing another african nation like somaliae, too, right, folks???
