Raasons for banning IPL.
by samudra blr on May 22, 2013 04:38 PM

1.IPL has only made cricket miserable. Scams, spot fixing, match fixing etc.

2. After the first T20 World cup , India did not even qualify for even a semifinal in T20 world cups , in spite of so much money and foreign players involved in IPL.

3. IPL is more of entertainment and games are not played in true spirit of the game. Only crowd pulling techniques used. Matches looks colorful to watch but its only a drama happening in the background.

4. IPL has given an invitation for malpractices involving huge money.

5. First the Lalit modi scandal, then in 2012 several Indian players involved in fixing, in 2013 the spot fixing scandal , the Bollywood connection, the Srinivasan Connection etc etc

6.Its time Government takes tough stance and saves the quality of cricket in India. IPL should be removed from Indian cricket itinerary and players representing national team should not be allowed to play franchise cricket.

7. Inter state T20 should be improved rather then IPL . Only foreign players are performing, Indian players are not improving, they are only looking to make maximum money through IPL.

In all this IPL conspiracy and mess Sreesanth was the best choice as the 'fall guy' and 'a sacrificial goat' - all rolled in one !

IPL is there to make money from innocent cricket addicts. It is neither going to serve Indian cricketers nor cricket.

This fellow Vindoo Dara Singh is a disgrace when compared to his illustrious father Dara Singh who was so simple, humble and good inspite of being the greatest Indian wrestler.

IPL ,corruption
by KARAN on May 22, 2013 03:47 PM  | Hide replies

Why is everybody surprised about corruption when we see congress in a very very big way with official spokespersons like abhishek manu singhvi(not much known about his involvement in some scandal, removal and reinstatement), loud mouthed manish tiwary(he will not stop his meanigless rant when he comes on the TV),PARTY hopper renuka, horrible english speaking JPC chairman(sic),the recent enfant terrible sanjay Jha,trying to look very inteligent kapi sibal, the long list of sales persons give an assured return on investment of all the corruptions ,the classic case being the husband of prinyaka whose overnight richness goes unchecked. As the congress is not punished everybody is encouraged to do a scam based on their knowledge, domain& possibility.
I AM NOT SURPRISED AT THESE.Only if we start putting these politicos where they belong, these kind of scams will go unabated

IPL is one big Tamasha. It gives opportunity to beaurcrats/politicians/fixers/bookies/owners/players/bollywood,etc to make easy money and convert black into white.BCCI does not come under RTI and no one can question where the money comes and goes.No one has control over BCCI.The Indian public is made fools.

Small fry
by Praveen Lakhotia on May 22, 2013 02:36 PM

How did this small fry like Vindoo, who has no "soorat na seerat", get a seat next to Sakshi Dhoni? I expect, that the police will not get much out of him.Another thing which is remarkable is that most of the bookies so far arrested and whose names are going around belong to a particular community, which in the last few years has started flaunting its new found wealth.
