Our Air force Chief & Defense Minister are Christian, our PM & Army Chief are Sikh, our Vice President, External Affairs Minister & IB head are Mus1ims. So, we do not need certificates of secularism from anybody.
If Turkey or Malaysia or Indonesia can be called Mus1im nations and the Western countries as Christian nations, India is for sure a H1ndu nation that functions in the form of a democracy. What is the harm in that?
Nearly 82 per cent of India's residents are H1ndus. So it is a nation with a H1ndu identity & culture, irrespective of whether people with more “secular” outlook accept it or not.
The issue is not about the privileges, securities & freedom of faith given to our Mus1im minority. We can live with that. While welfare measures or concessions for backward or minority sections of society is definitely warranted, the Congress has cynically exploited the minority community and pandered to its most extremist & radical elements as can be seen from their tacit, covert & overt alliances with outfits like the MIM, IUML in Kerala, UDF in Assam, etc.
So being "SECULAR" has come to mean anti-H1ndu posturing!
