Railways & Vigilance

Indian Railways is the only institution which has its own Vigilance dept and so is not free of remote control from with in the organisation. Many cases are dragged on for years and quietly closed.
Rarely does CBI get in. But in this case personal grudge was responsible and not nationalism.

Not bribe, but investment
by Bikash Biswas on May 09, 2013 04:08 PM

In present day India, what Mahesh Kumar did should not be called bribing. It is a wise investment for manifold return in future. Much more than any chitfund can ever promise. Why are we upset about this? Corruption is a part of life and its proof is that public still votes for Congress!

I consider as a clear case of brain drain.Unfortunately we have lost a good brain for our country. The achievements of Mahesh Kumar are many. It is sad that greed and over
ambition has ended a bright mans career. Bad luck also. If he had kept good relations with Sinha this might not have happened.
