India watered down the tough USA resolution again
by SivaSankaran Sarma on Mar 23, 2013 07:20 AM

As per western and Austtralian news papers it was due to the indistance of India, that the tough UN resolution against Sri Lanka calling for an internaition inquiry in to war crimes was watered down to an internal credible inquiry to be condected by Sri Lanka. India fully well kanows the Rajapkse government the Sinhalese will never conduct credible enquiry.
As usual it has ptotected the Sinhalese racists and playing a doubel game in the genocide. What has the Indian establishment got to hide? As they are constanlty protecting the Sinhalese racists.

Good Move India!!!
by Vinay Pai on Mar 22, 2013 08:22 AM  | Hide replies

In my Opinion India is doing right as it is taking care of the feelings of its Tamil people. This is a Good Move. What is the use if a country does not take care and support the feelings of millions of Tamil people who have suffered due to Srilankans. Moreover INDIA should be with Great MIGHTY COUNTRY like US,UK,JAPAN and not the other BUNCH as many times in past we have seen what had happened to opposite countries in 2 world wars no matter how prepared and strong they were!!!

Indifference
by Al Ringer on Mar 22, 2013 08:15 AM

Today if you look around India, what is missing among people is Compassion.

You go to railway counter for tickets and the ticket clerk makes you wait for 40 minutes without giving ticket while he is talking on phone with his family. No Compassion for waiting passengers. If you ask them, they will throw you out because you are not allowed to question Govt. people on duty.

You go to Police station to make a complaint about you stolen cycle, the constable makes you sit around for whole day without even asking why you are in the police station. You wait for all day and comeback again the next day. The same story repeats for a week and you don't know how to proceed. You finally give up and go home. If you are poor, you may be beaten up for nothing. There is no compassion for the suffering of fellow human being. If you ask anything, you are seen as interfering with police work.

You go to a Hospital, no one cares and you wait all day if you are still alive at the end of the day. Nurses, Wardboys, Hospital Staff, Doctors, no one cares about you and why you are waiting. No medicines, no diagnosis, no tests, no questions asked. If you are luck they will give you 4 white pills and ask you to comeback after one month. No compassion for fellow citizens.

This same story continues at Schools, Post Offices, Current Offices, Water Bills Offices, etc.

What is wrong with India, does anyone care about anyone else?

What happened to the Great Civilization on which many books are written?

It will only wake up too late when the Sinhalese chase all Tamils in the ancient historic Tamil Eelam lands in the north and east of the island and Sinhalise these lands 100%. They will then allow China and Pakistan to give the works to southern India.
The attack of Indian fishermen from southern Tamil nadu is just a prelude of things to come, A llitle appetizer.
India has dug its own grave by aiding and abetting the Sinhalese racists just to seek petty revenge.
The Sinhalese have never liked Indians and HIndus and will never liek them at all,Onl ya person who has lived in Sri Lanka will ever understand their genocidal racist mindset. A people with a huge chip in their shoulder a majority with a minority complex. This is very dangerous. Se what happened in Serbia

Exactly. That is what I used to write about the political situation here in India.
Our local politician's are spineless and are worried ONLY about grabbing money for anything.
every step from Indian side against Sri Lanka, will take China closure to Sri Lanka.
Manamohan Singh should strongly convey to DMK and other Tamil leaders that, IT IS Internal Matter of Sri Lanka.
even though these people are Tamil people, we should support Sri Lanka in ve manner to help in reducing the worst conditions of Tamil there.
Sri Lanka and their people are totally against Tamil migrants there as they have suffered huge loss from LTTE.
We should worried only about Indian Tamil's and not Tamil Speaking people across the globe.
Sri Lanka needs lot of support financially and militarily and INDIA should take like close friend or elder brothers role here....
Sarkar movie has one popular dialogue - "Najadiki Phayada Dekhane se Pahale Door Ke Nukasan ke Barreme Sochana Chahiyee"....
We must stop going Srilanka in China's group... AT ANY COST...

Stuid anit Tamil stop posting rot. You are lying. No 1) the Indigeous Eelam Tamil are not migrants from India but the orginal people of the land. Sinhalese and the Sinhalese langgue may now be the majority in the island ( thanks to large scale migration to the southrn and western littorals of the islan, from present day Tamilnadu and then Tamil speaking Kerla from 700 to 100 years ago) but their desceded largely from immigrants from India largely Indian Tamil ( 70%) and then immigrants from Bengal/Bihar/Oriss area 25%. The Sinhalese language is a mixture of the indigenous Tamil dialect Elu and the Pali and Sanskrit of Buddhism. Its vocabulary is 40% Tamil in origin and the rest Sankskrit Pali and PRakirt. Its grammer, lexicon, syntax and alphabet is purely 100% based on Tamil. I do not state this even renowned Sinhalese scholars state this.According to Dr. C.E. Godakmubara, a renowned Sinhala schola, the Sinhala Grammar Sidathsangarawa was based on the Tamil Grammar Virasolium in the 11th A.D. The term 'Sihala (Lion in Pali) is seen for the first time in Sri Lankan sources in the Dipa Vamsa (4-5 A.D.) and in that chronicle, that term occurs only once, and in that cryptic verse it is stated that the Island was known as 'Sinhala' on account of the Lion - "Lanka Dipo Ayam ahu sihena sihalaitu". In the maha Vamsa the term 'Sihala' - occurs only twice. In the epic Ramayana 420 B.C., this island was known Rev. S. Gnanapiragasam - "There are more than 4.000 Tamil words

If the Sinhala vocabulary is stripped of all the Tamil words there will be no Sinhala language."
The ancient Semi Tamil Elu speaking population in the island were called Eelavar or Eezhavar and the land called Eelam or Eezham ( the land of metal or gold) or were called Chingkalaver( People from the land of red or copper coloured land)
Contrary to what is claimed or believed the arroval of North Indian immigrants from the then Bengal/Bihar region did not create the Sinhalese they just got assimilated into the local Tamil population. The Sinhalese in oreder to differentiate thmsleves from the Tamils try to claim this but modern DNA analysis proves this is wrong. Both the Sinhalese and the indigenous Eelam Tamils who never claim this origin show a 25% and 28% respectively DNA in common with the Bengalis/Biharis. This proves that these North Indian migration never caused any linguistic or cultural change.
It was the arrival of Buddhism and the large scale coversion of the Tamil HIndu population in the southern western and central parts of the island that created the new Sinhalese identity and language in these areas. A new identitly closely associated with the Buddhist relgion formed here. Eelam becam Hela and Chingkalam became Sinhala. The population in the north eastof the island did not convert or converted and reconverted back to Saivasm So retained their anceint Eelam Tamil identity

Here the thought is not to allow any one looting the people's money.
I think you are Tamilian, that's why in place of backing the correct thought you are asking counter questions of others looting... it is the same money you have paid taxes from your hard earned money....

No one has right to loot...
If you have visited any developed country, you might have seen the progress made by their countries, the way they follow rules, laws and how they think about making their country ahead of the world....

We-the educated and young people of India- MUST stop looting by any political party or politician - including Marathi, Tamil, North, Zarkhand, Andhra Pradesh origin politicians from looting this country.

You do not want China in SriLanka?

They are already in Srilanka with a Naval base. Do you want to hear China setting up a naval base in Tamilnadu?
