Any person/country with conscience will vote only in favour of the resolution.It was Genocide upto 2009 and Genocide even till today only the manner differs.Like minded nations viz Pak etc voting against the resolution should not be a bother.India has done it right this time.
The purpose of India vote is not against Sri Lanka eradicating separatists/terrorists but it was against human rights violations and therefore, voting is right. We must see it in that perspective i guess.
regional politics is now governing our national policies because of coalition govt these days. very sad. India should have thought twice of Slanka going close to pakistan before voting in favor of resolution just because of pressure from one perticular state.

never. slanka was right. they cleared extremist inside their country. You dont have rights to dictate slanka for their internal matter. When you migrate to any perticular region, you can not ask for separate state or status. Will TN give separate status within TN if kannadigas demand it? will you?

learn sri lankan history first. sri lankans themselves were migrants from UP and Bihar in 12th century who brought buddhism there. before that there were just natives residing there.
looks like you are talking like this only because you dont want any resolution on kashmir. both are different cases if you are not aware.
and do you support violence like shiv_sena does in mumbai? going by your logic you do.

Who cares if Sri Lanka moves towards Pakistan? India needs USA more than these jealous neighbourors who always happy troubling India by raising one issue or other. In fact they need our support and friendship than vice versa.

Well said. We supported russia, in return we got nothing. Pakis supported America, they got everything for nothing. When will Indians learn? We send hords of Indians, especially Gujus to America to ear big money. But we are so hypocritic always critisize America.

Sri Lana was always close to China and Pakistan. THe Sinhalese despite their Indian origins had always hated Indians and Hindus. Pandering to Sinhalese racists will never change this. They were only skillfully using the China/Paksitan to blackmail what they thought ws a weak/soft India to aid and abett them on thieir genocidal dance agaisnt the indigenous Tamil population in the island. Once they achieved their genocidal ends they would have discarded India like a used curry leaf and run back to their friends China and Pakistan. It is the historic Tamil mjaority areas in the north east of the island that had acted as a buffer and shielded Southern India. Once thes eareas are Sinhalised and the Sinhalese become a majority the story will be different. A prelude or preview of what wil happen is what the Sri Lankan navy is doing to the Indian fisherment from southern Tamil Nadu. Northern SriLanka is only 20 KM from parts of southern Tamil nadu and Kerala and already the Sinhalese a building huge navak bases here with Chinese help. Lastly it ws the correct and moral thing to do to vote against Sri Lanka that is commiting genocide against its Tamil population. The LTTE is irrelevent. Remember the LTTE is achild of Sinhalese racism and it ws nutured and built by India. Wil lyou say the same if the concerned population was North Indian and not Tamil.Shows that you extremly biased and racist towards Southern Indians especially Tamils.
we have made sure that there is no neighbouring country is friend with us. We support the US resolution for humen right thats a big joke in it self who recently withinn a expand of ten years killed millions of innocent people.
