vinod mehta and his mag outlook is thriving on the philosphy of praising cong and its first family.this book is indirectly in mode of defaming modi, otherwise where is the logic to compare the traits of a dead and a living one

I don't agree with some of the views.
by Prabagar Balakrishnan on Mar 14, 2013 12:38 PM

I really can't accept this sentence in his reply "Some of that bureaucratic delay can be removed. But many of those ways of doing things have some merit in them. They protect the rights of the disempowered, the poor". Government can do really much faster than they are doing now. Peoples how has money get it done in a day, it is getting delayed only for peeps who doesn't have money. Our goverment is inefficient not because it is democratic but because of no accountability and punishments for that.

Sanjay vs Modi
by Pawan Marvah on Mar 13, 2013 07:47 PM

What a cheap comparison indeed !

I think think Vinod Mehta has overlooked entirely the entire persona of Sanjay Gandhi and his infamous deeds.

Modi has not only risen from the street, as a common man, but has also no other alleged taint except except 2002.

One should ask the people of Gujarat what and how they feel about him and the development under his watch.
There has not been another such example in Indian History since independence, where we have seen numerous stalwart Congress states fall disgracefully by the side .

There must be some difference in the style and method of Governance !

If any development takes place anywhere in the country it benefits all sections of society and there are no exclusions.

Either take that OR take what you have already suffered in the last 66 years of so called secularist rule of India.

Choice is ours as a nation!

Beware the doomsayers with vested interests !!

Why should common man worry about authoritarianism?
by S K on Mar 10, 2013 10:41 PM  | Hide replies

As per this article,Hitler was democratically elected and he became a tyrant, therefore democratically elected Narendra Modi will also become a tyrant and Sanjay Gandhi was bad for the country. The writer is living in dreams.Sanjay Gandhi was one of the few persons very highly regarded by all sections in India.  He is painted in bad light by pseudo secularists because he decriminalised Jama Madjid area and dared fight the Islamic fanatics and also dared introduce population control which is 100% needed in India but goes against the designs of Islamists who want to make the whole world Dar ul Islam. Yes, Narendra Modi has some similarities with Sanjay Gandhi and has some similarities with Hitler but  he is a different person with the best qualities of these two persons, but why Indians should worry about these similarities. On the other hand these similarities make him a worthy candidate for the Prime Minister of India to put a full stop to the divisive politics of congress and many other caste and region based parties . India needs a Prime Minister with spine and resolve and even if the next Prime Minister is authoritarian, this should worry his political oponents . Authoritarianism does not hurt the common man on the streets. Divisive politics and poverty does. And the common man knows this.

Modi Vs Gadhi...
by IceIceCoolCool on Mar 10, 2013 05:43 PM

Basically we should understand that comparison is done between apple to apple...Modi cannot be compared even with an animal as they atleast loyal to their masters...what Modi did in Gujarat to minorities it is very clear that he is no less than a Hitler....If Modi is a true politician born to 1 father then he should run for PM post and accept his fate.....which is going to be a kick on his aaaaas.......let any party rule India, but they should not be biased against any particular caste or religion...rather they should focus on development and leadership......and that is possible only when we as citizens make a right choice of leader....No Politician is clean, but we got th select the one with minimal %......hope all these politicinas head towards the doomsday and find no place on earth to live.....for the atrocities they have been causing to poor and innocent people in the name of religion....or caste,....or creed....

Is Narendra Modi another Sanjay Gandhi?
by Prabhakar Waghodekar on Mar 10, 2013 02:33 PM

What a poor comparison? Comparison is made of equals. World knows that Sanjay is the son of Indira Gandhi, the Durga Devi of India and the grandson of Nehru. Do you know the name of Modi's mother and grandfather? I do not. Then why this tutorial?

Dear Vinodji,
To what extent you can talk senseless things by comparing Sri. Modi with Late Sanjay Gandhi to sell your books .Why cant you translate some old Sashtras, Puranas,Yogas, and things like that which will immensely benefit the corrupted Indian souls .I think you are maligning Sri Modi in a very subtle way please stop because anyway they are going to be in power in 2014 so pls start writing another book comparing Sanjay Gandhi and MM Singh the great economist
