No benefit for India but American business/Mafia
by Sanjay on Jun 27, 2013 04:06 AM

America treats India as an enemy state and that is historical, It uses its business to spy and cheat Indians like Coke cola and alleged pesticides in soft drinks.

by madhan kumar on Jun 26, 2013 11:11 PM  | Hide replies

Lets all hope this US govt activities are good. Its not a stolen info, just monitoring international mgs which may prevent terror activities.
Few months back there was a claim that our govt tapping phone calls of opposition leaders. Thats crime as for political advantage.
Even there was news when hyd terror attack has been warned by our intelligence and US too. So as a common man we need not question govt act or panic.
They ll not question you about your girl ir boys friend in Facebook by steals these mail information.
So lets hope good and We are the most victims on the same.....

The Programmer Who Came In From The Cold
by Sheetal Kaur on Jun 26, 2013 09:40 PM

US government's computers not hacked but information taken and revealed by an employee.
This is act of treason and punishable.
Question is that US government is hacking the world collecting information that is done completely illegally.
So who is the guilty one, For me it is the US government.
Now which country will ask to see the records of US government and start an investigation like USA did with Iraq on weapons of mass destruction.
Has any country got guts to ask US for examination of their computers?
There is not a single country on earth who will and can do that.
So accept it and rest and sleep well.

I really appreciate NSA to have built that capability
by such jano on Jun 26, 2013 09:33 PM  | Hide replies

I wished Indian govt too take security seriously.

My only concern would be if NSA would use the information only to protect America or it will use to harass ordinary citizens for their private matters.

NSA and CIA will always owrk for the benefit of US and will continue spying. If we are worried about our data hacking. Why our Govt is not taking help of Mr. Narayan Murthy and other expert programmers to devise a system that will prevent hacking our computers by any country. It is a time when we should hunt for our own intelligent talents to solve the problem.

Snowden
by andhra alloys on Jun 26, 2013 05:02 PM  | Hide replies

There are good and bad things about any thing. CID work even used to have during Gupta age and Chandra Gupta Maurya was having feed-back from all his CIDs. Claim for free speech is only an excuse. Unless there are restrictions, freedom to do any thing will kill the freedom. If there could be freedom for speech then there should be freedom for other activities also. Of course, how to ensure unbiased observations is the point. Allowing a traitor to steal the master is not a trait of freedom!

I think you have no idea what this article is talking about and what Mr. Snowden has done. It's better to keep quiet, so that people do not know what you are :-) You must know that it's USA govt which has stolen enormous amount of secret and personal information related to its citizens, other nations and individuals belonging to other nations. Mr. Snowden has just blown the whistle informing everybody that his master is a thief.
