itz a shame on the countries like USA, UK AND FRANCE that they are keeping mum and not coming for help despite seeing the impact of the floods. Shame on USA, UK and other nations who dont have any HUMAN VALUES. We really appreciate the DFRL and CFTRI for providing tonnes of packet foods, clothing, and other needful to the pilgrims in Uttarakhand.

Obsolete equipment must be removed immediately...
by abhijit on Jun 26, 2013 08:04 PM  | Hide replies

Equipment that is past its shelf life should be removed immediately and replaced.

Also maintenance should be done properly on present equipment which is not over its shelf life.

20 Indian personnel from different parts of the country who have been trying to help people in disaster-struck Uttarakhand has been killed mainly because of poor equipment quality.
