Naive to think DMK is down. At least 30% of the electorate is committed to DMK, while it is lower at 25% for AIDMK. The balance percentage will decide prior to the elections. The 2G scam effected the last voting pattern. Now there is nothing of tnis sort to sway voters. Yes Congress is a spent force in T.N except for few leaders but with no mass following.

While that is a fact, there is saying in Sanskrit "Paapi Chiraayuhu". Thats why fellows like karunanidhi & Congress goons live so long only to kill people & the Country. I will support Jayalalitha, even if she does whatever, just because the news says, she is born to kill Congress. all the best Madam & sooner the better.
Congress party was trounced in the elections following the anti-Hindi agitation in 1965,with a giant like Kamaraj Nadar losing against a student leader. Since then the party gave up hopes of returning to power in Tamilnadu and now depends on one of the two Dravidian parties for survival at Centre. Jayalalithaa or any other leader has nothing to do with its demise in Tamilnadu.
The power situation has worsened, infrastructure is in shambles, Ministers and bureaucracy are frequently shuffled enabling instability, corruption has grown manifold, prices are zooming and despite all these shortcomings, the Political commentator is naive to imagine that Jaya will sweep the State. She will face a severe antiincumbency factor and her party's tally will not cross even 10 seats.
Sincerely doubt the timing of this interview... may be arranged by DMK just to create havoc among congress(in delhi) so as to get its support in the RS elections this week

now let it be the turn of congress to score the celebrated zero in other states like kerala, andhra, karnataka and TN. Also in UP, Bihar, Gujarat and WB. That will see the end of Congress under Diggy Rahul combine.There after, peace will prevail in India and India will progress with the illegal money hashed in Swiss banks and elsewhere brought back to India.
