The article is deafeningly silent
by piri on Jun 03, 2013 11:11 PM

about the fact that of the six parties that have been directed to be bound by the provisions of the RTI act, only the CPI has welcomed the development and that the remaining five (most vociferously the Congress and the BJP) have raised flimsy objections!

Politically incorrect RTI
by Kolappa Pillai on Jun 03, 2013 08:11 PM

Existing govt departments still reeling under gigantic corruption but Right To Information Act not working. I hope soon most of the parties bribe the person who is seeking vital information.

BCCI.Committee Members..All looters
by Brij Garg on Jun 03, 2013 07:45 PM

No political people should have anything to do with the Games. All spineless and corrupt, I repeat Corrupt people like Arun jaitly, Modi , Rajive shukla, Srinivasan etc all members of BCCI should be sacked and never allowed to hold any public office in their life. They are all impotent and corrupt that is why they didn't ask most corrupt man Mr Srinivasan to resign. Only Bindra has spine. Rest all have colluded with the corrupt. In fact Supreme Court should directly take cognizance of the acts of this corrupt Body and sack them in Public interest. No one in the country is ready to accept their continuance as BCCI member as they all have shown their impotence yesterday. Garg

Political arties under RTI
by Brij Garg on Jun 03, 2013 07:31 PM

Its an excellent judgement given by CIC which would have far reaching effects of Indian Polity. In fact even all the assets acquired by the political leaders and thier all direct & indirect relations, friends should come under the scanner of Income Tax and raided by IT authorities to make the public aware how so much wealth they have acquired and in how much time. further the same should apply to all govt officials from clerks to IAS in all offices as they are all looting the public thru bribe day in and day out.

Are we sure people like Sibal and Diggi Raja won't throw a spanner? Know for sure, they won't be able to resist throwing it. Hope they won't succeed.
