Global citizens has a general perception that certain religions are regressive to under-privileged class and/or women. But, after going thru' the Martin case verdict and the social networking site reception received for Ms Bartoli (latest wimbledon female champion), we should realize that humans generally tend to pooh-pooh someone who is considered as lesser than the observer. Though we collectively say humans, male and female have more dissimilarities than similarities. all major decisions are 'man'-made, still mistakes are attributed to certain sects to cover the common trends everywhere. Civilisation is still in the early evolving stage, long way to go we can say there are clear difference between animals and humans
