Well at least Indian government should be embarrassed of letting people down for not providing better quality of life in India. Why is India such a mess? Why is there no embarrassment to the party that has ruled for sixty years and failed Indian aspirations? Why have we become such a mess? When will corruption stop?

that's the sad part. The other day the great flag-bearer of justice a.k.a. the US managed to get the two killers out of Pak. Similarly the GCC takes care of its citizens in trouble.

Why has India failed to create cosy and comfortable environment for their citizens like most of European countries? Look at the mess current ruling party has created? Why do we put up with this mess? Is this democracy? Why do we accept this chaotic mediocre life that the so called secular party has dropped us in?

Just switch on your daily news channels and watch how Indian cops are thrashing the living daylight out of Indians including women. One sixty five year old woman was hammered with lathis by police in Nalanda. One thirty something woman was hit repeatedly with a shoe by an MP from MP a few weeks ago. Guys before you criticize someone else, why dont you look right around your self.
Atleast in Dubai there is a chance that the official will get punished. In India what do you think would happen? Well you know the answer yourself.

That is exactly my point. Be it institutional stupidity or individual, few nations can compete with India.
Case in point, a few weeks ago, there was news about a young girl raped and when the rape victim was taken by her mother to the police station, both mother and daughter were slapped by the cop. guess what? the cop was a woman!
I saw, both mother and daughter should consider them lucky. why? Because there are several incidents where rape victims were raped by the cops! Case in point was the incident of a rape victim getting raped by the constable. Then when the inspector became aware of it, he became angry at the constable since the inspector did not get a chance to rape her. So inspector took the woman to a guest house and raped her. This was in UP and strangely it happened AFTER the infamous delhi rape case.
My point is why hide behind 'institution vs. individual'. Where does institution start and individual end? People blinded by cops in police stations is not unheard of in India, custodial rapes and murders is commonplace in India. So while we get so agitated when Indians are hit by people in the middle east, why are we so sanguine about what happens in India?
