We, Indians, are the biggest hypocrites on the face of this globe. Everyone (ELECTION COMMISSION INCLUDED) even a MORON knows that you cannot fight an election in Rs. 17 odd lacs. Crores and crores of black money from all possible sources are used to fight elections. Rathet than iissuing a showcause notice to MUNDE, he should be given at leasta PADMA VIBHUSHAN for being honest. What the election commission should ask the candidates is-- HOW DID THE WEALTH INCREASE AFTER ASSUMING OFFICE and what was the source of their obscene amounts? As usual, election commission is coming out as a spineless and soft outfit that nobody respects. The people ate large also do not have any faith in the EC. The EC has no credibility.

No candidate can declare aasets of 911 crore. In India the tax rate is 35%. So to have assets of 911 corere as one candidate in Karnataka has declared, he must an income of about 1500 crore which is impossible. Actually the time has come to deal with our corrupt politicians in the same way as China did to her ex railway minister. Along with the politicians the bureacrates who hande over the corruption money to the politicians must be dealt in the same way.
Not justified to question rulers, they cannot answer certain questions, No one is interested to ban criminals/corrupts/anti nationals to contest election, similarly why they should allow anyone to raise question on the money receipt. Even EC and SC remains silent.
