take lessons from swami narayan temple development committee. and have a clear transparent vendor system. and only employ those who are devoted to the lord, this way there will be less corruption and achieve better results. unless absolutely necessary. and do not allow any construction that causes a bottle neck.

People managing the temple committe are responsible for disaster by constructing guest houses at the top.
Check old photos of Kedarnath from Geographical Survey of India site there was nothing around Kedarnath Temple.

Lord Kedarnath has cleared the area himself so please do not allow these commercial minded people to reoccupy,

Instead replantation of devdar , bhoj and other endangered trees in this area will go a long way.

The renovation of the devastated kedarnath temple is indispensible but at the same time more essential is to work out a plans to tackle such contingencies in future and to execute them at the earliest.

no one can or should cavil about the immediate rescue of the entire Kedar Badri yatra Route giving a permanent basis to thevictims of that region who have suffered so many lives untimely end,and loss of homes, assets and ways of livelihood. it should however, beensured that greedy priest craft does notline their bottomless appetite forgraft andwaste public funds fortheir medival debaucheries with anynumber Devdasisandthe like whom they mostinhuman ly mount like goats day and night , far from the eyes of the trusting Yatris, who shall be scandalized, if they could see these deadly blasphemous deeds of permanent Priestly custodians. please stop all politics on the tragedy. Also most of the comments are either ignorant reactions or illogical. I being a Garhwali know the area.
Press should play constructive and morale building role not the contrary

Well said. The sanctity of the Temple should be restored at the earliest, but at the same time politicians by whatever name called should not be allowed in the vicinity of the temple.

We muslims were very sorry when the babri masjid was pulled down by the VHP and its allies. We request the government dont give us money , but at least have the Courtesy to permit building a simple mosque, to bury our griefs.

Congress would use this public money to fuel its election campaign .People of uttrakhand wont benefit out of it.How have they arrived at this figure when they don't have not been able to quantify the devastation yet . My request to congress is to not waste this public asset on a lost cause as NaMo is destined for a clean sweep come what may .
