pls stop trial by media of our intelligence agencies
by Nandakumar Chandran on Jul 07, 2013 06:04 AM  | Hide replies

there is now a tendency in the media - TOI, rediff etc - to kinda show that the victims killed were not terrorists. that cannot be so easily concluded. if we do not trust our intelligence agencies then who can we trust? till a bomb explodes under us?

pls stop the trial of the IB by the media. this is hurting national interests.

Yes, they could be. But why kill like that? You people are always showing a typical mindset. They could be held and tried rather than killing in cold blood.

It's really sad to see plight of Pranesh and Ishrat's family.

But hard truth is, most criminals keep their life of criminal activity a big secret, especially from their family...and don't go on advertising it. Most families get completely SHOCKED when they learn of their child's criminal activities...child whom they raised with such love, affection, care and with good values.

There is no doubt that the leech organisations like JuD, LeT prey on poor, young and impressionable ppl, and promise to take care of their family.

Instead of mouthing big words like "terror has no religion", govt should identify places where they get inducted into LeT, where they get brainwashed....so that we can avoid more such incidents.

Condolences to family...but just accept the bitter truth.

Dear Li Na! exactly! pl accept the bitter truth that there are fake encounters, illegal arrests happening to blame a community.
The way Gujrath cops did this encounter clearly points out to the propaganda factor.
Mere condolences would mean nothing to the family of the victims, the responsible persons should be punished and the victims' families should be compensated.

it is not just gujarat cops - it is also the IB which is involved. the current IB chief is a muslim and he also asserts that they have clear evidence to prove ishrat was a LET operative. in tamil they say 'kaakaiku thun kunju pon kunju' ie for a crow even its chick is a golden one. so not surprised that a victims parent feels that his child is innocent. it could be. but it could also be otherwise as well.

also given your paranoia about 'blaming a community', can you also tell us the reasons why many indian muslims routinely turn up helping terrorists from across the border?

Dear NC! The IB chief is more worried about his organization than the truth; if he feels that there is enough evidence then so be it - come face the law, instead of writing to HM to provide buffer to his colleagues.
If the crow's case is applied then the parents' of Nmodi would say that their son is innocent and he had no role in 02 gujrat riots! So let's not bring the parents, and focus on evidence on hand.
If u want to look other way, then facts look like 'paranoi'.
And u cant make a blanket statement on 'many indian muslims'. like u have nmodi, muslims also have some ppl who prefer voilence - a case of black sheeps in every community!

Answer to you last Para.. The intentional riots, the fake encounters by politicians and police and staying them justified by the people like you, is the reason, if you are right.

Why hardworking go to USA
by Pro Indian on Jul 07, 2013 02:27 AM

Now its clear why hardworking and intelligent people go to USA. IF they show their talent in India they are pushed out by politics. Same happening to NM in India. Such people will never have a place in this country.

so are the cops and political leadership in Punjab, Kashmir, Manipur, Maharashtra, Andhra pradesh,Assam, Bihar, UP other tribal areas.Recently a commander told on public television that an Ex Assam chief minister ordered him to enounter Maoist leaders. Why this selective fury. But I agree India needs to enforce accountability into its policing. Not just in gujarat.
