Justice Verma committee has clearly mentioned that there were no response from govt regarding suggestion on amendment in law. Sonia gandhi apologise for sending suggestion late after deadline. They gave sabashi to Police Commissioner of Delhi for capturing culprit instead of suspending him for carelessness of Delhi police.

Rape is not to be managed. Soft laws do only this. It is to be shunned. Zero tolerance on rape is the damand of the times. Age of offender(s) should not matter. A rapist is a rapist, major or minor. The new law has to take note of this.
