ARUNA JI
by madanmohan siddhanthi on Jan 29, 2013 08:58 AM

When you ask politicians to involve people - more often than not it is their cronies or thugs .alternately it is high & fly of the society ,rich and famous - who have no knowledge of the realities of the ground level . If you have intent and commitment to a cause - it is not difficult to frame laws and it is a process of evolution and they can be improved .you know the joke about juvenile law - more often than not the rich and famous children involve in road accidents from the looted money and bi cars of the corrupt parents - so would they allow the law to be changed .

by Informed on Jan 29, 2013 08:45 AM

This same Aruna Roy is one of the 200 antinational psedo intellectuals who signed the mercy petition of Ajmal Kasab. This same traitor is in the National Security Advisory council headed by Sonia Gandi, what a shame.

Aruna Roy is correct
by Prem Mohan on Jan 29, 2013 08:33 AM

Aruna Roy is correct. The final decision on all proposals in India should be left to Mdm Sonia Gandhi. Only the Nenru-Gandh! family can take care of all Indians, particularly the minorities and weaker sections of society.

Why do we need elections and parliament then?

Isnt that the basic essence of democracy that elected representatives frame laws keeping in mind their constituents' aspiration?
If people do not elect right candidates whose fault is that? Our leadership is reflective of our vote and society that we are.
