Manmohan Singh is one of India's greatest pm's
by kartikeya on Jan 20, 2013 08:03 PM  | Hide replies

Manmohan Singh is one of India's greatest pm's , if not the best.

It was his innings as the finance minister of India in 1990 , that helped steer India out of a very dangerous economic crisis and bring solidity into the Indian economy.

He has also lead India well in the last 9 years.

He is famous for his honesty and great academic credentials, having an oxford university education.

Congress should realise that it is Manmohan's image of honesty and scholarship that attracted votes for congress for its victory, not rahul gandhi.

If they continue with their dynasty politics that will signal the end of democracy and meritocracy in India.

Manmohan Singh was good/great as a finance minister. Maybe that was a area where he was very good at and should have been persisted with. But as a PM of India, just pathetic. He has taken maun wrath since he has become the PM of india. Dont see any good work done by him. His passiveness in any major recent issues like Nirbhaya case, Pakistan case, has been far below average. Just looks like a fool. Congress as a whole has failed BIG time. But the pity is that neither the opposition party i.e. BJP is good barring Narendra Modi. The options are very very limited. But would prefer Narendra Modi to be the next PM of India rather than these proven failures.

Whatever the case may be, only people with good academic credentials, excellent character and good administrative skillset should be allowed to be a MP and especially a PM.

Manmohan singh liberlized India because Narsimha Rao was the prime minister.. He approved and forced him to libralize... Also we did not have option at that point.. Only 15 days of import... None of the parties are good.. we are again going back to gulami stage where a family like king, prince and his sin rules the kingdom....

BJP lost the last elections becacause of of its own failures. This time also, if they do not bend their ways, they may not see power even though they have a golden opportunity.

MMS deserves no sympathy. He has made the lives of Indians miserable due to his misgovernance, corruption, scams and price rise. The man is a puppet and waits for crumbs to fall from the table of Sonia. If he had any self respect he would have resigned long back for the insults and humiliation heaped on him all these years.

JGN, Can you name where was such a war was ever fought and the names of innocent people who had to shed their lives in it. Don't try to make comments without backed up details. That is neither fair to them and nor to you.

Agreed with Soina lesson to Rahul.
by P M on Jan 20, 2013 07:43 PM

I agree first time with Soniaji. She told Rahul that power is poison. Very True !! Poison of Planned assassination of Husband and Mother in law to get power (Not to forget she has Italian roots and KGB agent), Poison India with Corruption, Inflation, Poverty. . Your power is poison for all and teach you son to be a poison. You are a backstabber. Take example of our freedom fighters and true leaders. Their power has brought freedom to us and peaceful life. You cannot fool India. We will vote to kick you out like we have to Britishers, Mogals.....
