Gone are the days of patriotic politics. In our country politics has become a dirty game. Apart from the guts you require a cunning mind and an ability to manage all situations for your better advantage. At least I have seen all people who entered into politics were simple looking and had genuine feelings initially, but once they acquired a some place in politics they turned rogues. They treat people as raw material which can be processed with a certain recipe to achieve their personal goals rather than any public good. Why all the young minds should have or develop guts to enter into politics at all. It is no more a pious profession.
Can any decent person from decent families with no financial support can contest in election .I know even for grampanchayat crores and crores are spent .It is loot money -do not insult the youth of the nation - when they get fed up - the politicians with police and even army will not have a place to run - they will be butchered

So true, a brainlessfemale fit for writing only trash giving her silly Opinions on all and sundry.
Its horrible why media publish such things it she says such things thent what she did in politics if she herself is not doing (infact not capable) its no point finguring others..
It is better for shobha dey to focus on fashion and her topics rather than criticising youth. what kind of administrative structure and constitution that the so called politicians gave to our cuntry ? It manipulative system to the core and that is what we see to day. Every thing is nothing but corruption and mismanagement of funds. Most of the IAS officers are misfits in the present software driven modern soceity. First agree for direct election of prime minister and have parilament system with a mix of directly elected and propotionately representated MPS . PM should select his cabinet from civil soceity of professional and PM can not be broght down by less than 2/3 mejority in parliament. Decison making and administration should be under PM . All government servants are to be made accountable and not permanent , Their continuation depends on performance. Make adminsitration computer/software savy. we have lot of high tech manpower in this country and they will come forward in to politics only if such system comes in existance. Presently it is day dream only for all the youth till the nation is completely distroyed by the present political and administrative structure.
