My generation havent' experienced Paki enemity until we felt Kargil war and learnt it first hand. Person of my age with nationalistic feelings can understand what I said.
Similarly, last 15 yrs gone and this generation knows only Bollywood, item girls, some protests as knee jerk reaction, hopes for aman ki asha celebrations etc.. but never bothers about country's security.
So if a War occurs now, this generation learns to know the Paki true enemity and Youth is backbone of our country.
The way our soldiers & Veterans (retired soldiers) are being treated by the govt represented by the politicians and the bureaucrats, no one would be surprised if fewer people join the Armed Forces. Already there is a lot of shortage in all the three wings, both in the officer cadre & in the other ranks cadre. Our netas are like Kumbhakarna. They are awake only to eat and go to sleep once again once the job is over. Unfortunately, unlike in the case of Kumbhakarna, if they woken up midway, they continue to live, survive and thrive.

Sadly, it is true. While poverty and love for country making most of our Jawans. Middle class is mostly after hi life in cities, i phones, IT industry, rave parties, bollywood, live in relationships, discos, but never for patriotism.
For ex. No youth association protested in Delhi or elsewhere over jawans'Killing.

Vivekananda was not just national but international figure until independence.
But now he is limited to not many outside Hind00 society. Have you seen SRK or AK or any of ur mullah or any churrrchh father hailing Vivekananda ?
Atleast not in last 25 yrs ! Even Sonia talked about this legend only after Modi took yatra.

Vivekananda carried 2 books with him - one is the Gita and the other is called The imitation of christ. I am not cooking up this story, please do your research on the net. Vivekananda became famous because of his speech in the US, and that seminar or parliament was funded by elite christians. In fact, the chairman of the committee that organised the parliament was a Christian priest. After that session, Vivekananda stayed back in the US for a few years and received funding from Christians there.
The Kargil War was sad, but it was the single short event that exposed Pakistan as Villains. The U.S which was always aligned to Pakistan even after the Cold War, suddenly realized that they had to call a spade a spade. One remembers that President Clinton snubbed Pakistan as he came to India and left flew back over Pakistan, completely ignoring them.
India helped to clean East Pakistan & then gave birth to Bangladesh (during Ms Indira Gandhi regime) Simly theory may work with west Pakistan & give birth to Indusdesh (new name given on the basis of river Indus)At least we can hv better neighbours on both sides.
Tarun vijay has written a provoking article-but where was Tarun vijay when Kargil happened-Even one or two weeks after newspapers were reporting intrusion - the then army and government were denying any intrusion and in the process over 500 army men were killed. what did BJP do at that time to teach Pakistan a lesson. Why did BJP government allow hundreds of Pakistani's to return home- So what would Vivekananda done during the Kargil operations - CAn Tarun Vijay tell the world. It was the same BJP government which took great offenders under custody of a Cabinet minister and gave safe custody to Pakistan - Its very easy to write inflammatory articles now but then all these saviors were missing.

Do you know background of Kargil ? India and Pak armys until 1999 have a habit of leaving hi lands in winter and return in later. Only that year Pak army hatched plan and did that what we know all kargil war.
But you shall know India successfully killed all insurgents, paki army with ablomb that too without crossing LOC not scaling into war.
Present govt. not even celebrates Kargil win as Vijaydiwas and even soldiers were not properly paid homage by MMS. What do you talk of corrupt khangress govt.

As far as Kandhahar, YES Govt had to let off extremists in exchange of 200 precious Indians lives.
Remember, the flight was hijacked in Nepal and not in Indian airports for any security fault.
Such incidents are possible even today, but not Afghan is under US control so possibility of recovering people is high but situation is different then.
India knows to talk and negotiate, it is very slow to intrude and attack the attackers. Indians get raped and mutilated, their heads are never recovered. Indians never mount a counter retaliatory attack, we are a peace-loving nation of spineless politicians and corrupt ministers. Indians have Swiss bank accounts but are bankrupt with fear. India shivers in the cold and on seeing itself getting whacked severely!

chootiyamaadarchodgood for nothing fellow typical Indian mentality. What r u doing? first ask yourself. why will they enlist after seeing so much of apathy by the ruling and the ruled towards the soldier, who in saving u has to give his life.
