What juvenile??
by Rohit ezhuthachan on Jan 04, 2013 08:16 AM  | Hide replies

This man so called 'juvenile' shouldbe given much more punishment than others. He is going to be hard core criminal is it is not nipped in the bud itself.. no pardon to him and no special leniency to him.

Right. Children should be killed once we find that they are doing wrong.

C arry Pepper Spray / Exploding ye / Guns
by Jehan Mir on Jan 04, 2013 06:06 AM  | Hide replies

Women in India should carry Pepper Spray and an exploding dye capsules to mark criminals,in their purses if they cannot own or operate any guns. This would delay, deter any criminal advances.

Hang the sixth one too
by springvale on Jan 04, 2013 02:40 AM  | Hide replies

What's the point of leaving the sixth one as juvenile-? This scum will spend three years behind bars & after coming our again commit scores of crimes. These criminals can never be corrected. By leaving that scoundrel, only e are endangering some other girl's life. In India, there are scores of protection for criminals, but nothing for common man, they can be killed like animals anytime.

"These criminals can never be corrected"

You are right. Sensible people kill their children immediately once they do something wrong.

Innocent until proven guilty

When accused names are revealed as if they are already proven guilty, why can't the rapee's name be revealed?

In Indian legal system accused is innocent until proven guilty. And until that happens in a court the identity of the accused has to go thru a lot of rules and regulations to be released.
Given this, there are ways this will come out (perhaps already has).

The secular government has eroded the moral fabric of the country. When women should be treated with respect (any women not related to you should be treated as a mother or sister); Instead westernization and lack of belief in karma has led led to this situation.

@Padmaja, Over the ages .. thoughts, ideas, culture and all has traveled across borders. Some good some not so good, and this will continue. It is upto the individual /society to understand and accept these in full or part or reject it.

if all women not related to me are treated like mothers and sisters then how will the human race survive? how can a man have ceks with a woman who is like his mother and sister? what does belief in karma have to do with stopping seks? in ancient india, with belief in karma and nonsecular system seks was much more liberal and easy than the so called modern-victorian indian society .. no madam?.. polygamy, different types of marriages (including gandharva marriage, the institution of the ganika ( respected prostitution)etc were all widespread in ancient india.. right? then why do you spread canards like secular vs hindoo?

India has found its Rosa Parks.

The girl lost her life, but let us not let it go waste.

Hope this event will bring about a much-needed change in Indian mindset and law-and-order situation.

That will be our best tribute to the girl.

Thanks.
