blaming Rajiv Gandi for this deal is outrageous as the deal would have taken place with anybody in PM's seat. It was the external pressure which resulted in this deal( the deal was enforced on Third World country INDIA ). Overall india does not have sound foreign policy as again in Chandrashekhar's govt. proved later by allowing refueling facility in bombay during IRAQ war. In other words BHIKHARI DON"T HAVE A CHOICE.
