Re: BJP must not declare PM candidate until elections are announc

Shenoy says "The Janata Dal-United says it is opposed to Narendra Modi [ Images ]. The Shiv Sena [ Images ] says it would prefer Sushma Swaraj "

If JDu continues to oppose Modi, let BJP break its ties with Nitesh as he is anyway sliding on popularity. Next, JDu has no choice but to be with NDA as it cannot join Lallu UPA camp.

Next, SS has no major objection to Modi except he might overtake MH visavis Guj devp. But as PM he cannot favour unduly that too in a coalition. Even MNS is not averse to tie up with BJP.

BJD is anyway not with and will not be with BJP, instead it may join Cong post polls but much depends on tally.

ADMK Amma might join NDA as Modi got good rapport with her. That leaves Mamtadi who is anyway unpredictable even to God, but might still rejoin NDA as she cant be with Left.

Modi should replace ME with WE
by OM on Feb 08, 2013 02:44 PM

My vote in next general election will go for Modi if he is the candidate. Having said that I would like him to concentrate on somethings which he can get right before that.

a) His speeches should preferably have we or us rather than me or my. Like when he says my Gujarat and I did that, the better way would be our Gujarat and we did it will be more inclusive and attractive too.

b) He should also make sure that he dont raise expectation to a very high ;level where the people get carried away and when the time comes people might not feel satisfied even with good work.

All these writers have single point agenda.....

All these writers/media who are after BJP to declare its PM candidate have single point agenda and is to garner as much anti Modi publicity as possible, to chase JDu, BJD out of possible tie up with NDA, which will help Congressi disgrace leader in trouble.

Sold out Media now forcing BJP to anounce its PM candidate, was silent when Cong was in silence over its leader in 2004. So stop playing this game atleast now.

It is good if BJP go into campaign without any one PM candidate announced, which and will work for them positively in 2014.

The idea that Modi may bring misfortune to the NDA may be misplaced.
I find a section(may be small, but, reasonable) of muslims also happy with Modi.
Moreever, after a very long period of wishy washy muddlesome years, the Nation may prefer a decisive leader like Modi.
Also, an announcement well ahead of the deadline may kill any negative factor over a few months.
I am no great admirer of BJP which I sometimes describe as Bharateeya Jokes Party.
Yet, you can't deny our Nation deserves a more decisive march forward.
Last but not of least importance,Modi ascending the Delhi thrown would definitely mean a more peaceful and prosperous life for the major minority community, the Muslims.

Certainly he may not be negative for BJP in the context of Muslimvotes but still some liberal secular(antihindoo) middle classers are not inclined upto his leadership.

If his name anounced now, UPA will use SIT,CBI,NGOs to do what they best do for Modi since decade, even before 2014.

BJP leaders are like crabs; they would rather let an opposition party form the Govt. so none of them can be PM than letting one of them be the PM and form the govt. BJP neess no other party to destroy it - they are experts in committing harkiri.
