Why are they called dalit. Why are they reminded that they were economically backward. They are honoured for their grit and derermination. If you want cassless society then dont divide them and scrap all reservations. Only uplift all from economic poverty. But strangely we are continuing reservations even after 65 years well beyond ten years.

untill the forward caste brahmins call themselves forward and feel proud about it...the dalits would want to call themselves so.....
I think Kalpana stands as a great example of the courage and grit that Indian women should and must muster to come up in life. Women should stop stereotyping themselves as homemakers thereby subjecting themselves to lifetime slavery and dependency. They need to be independent and strong. I appreciate Kalpana Saroj's courage of breaking free from her marriage to pursue her ambitions. Congratulations.
