Sangeeta did not disobey the injunction of Delhi High Court. She filed no complaint in any Indian Court.Indian Hgh Court has no jurisdiction in U.S. or any other country.
Why can't we clean our own Toilets? 99.9% of Americans don't have a maid, they clean their own Toilets. Gandhi told us to clean our own Toilets, but we did not learn from Gandhi. Devyani wanted a maid, even though she couldn't afford one legally. So she took the illegal route and got caught. Now she should go to prison. So why are we protesting?

It is around USD 12 per hour,and suppose she works for 12 hours,it would be around USD3500per month plus accomadation and food, which she could ill afford unless our Govt is prepared to pick up the tab.

In spite of all this humiliation, if you ask Devyani where she would like to settle her answer would be United States. I guarantee she would not come even if corrupt Indian govt somehow manages to get her name cleared from the case by torturing the maids family in India. That is the reason her corrupt father Uttam kobragade is trying to get her name cleard so that she won't have any problems in gaining US citizenship.

Corruption has also infiltrated IFS which has been historically a clean(er) service. whether it is financial or moral is immaterial, but this service also seems to have gone the way of others.
